While 200k is a lot of money in Nigeria, we have to remember thousands of those women left high and dry with the children when the men neglect their responsibilities, there are countless of them in every neighborhood, she is a lucky one. Anyway, Afonja is a derogatory name used by other tribes to refer to Yoruba people.
They can however be excused because they don't know much about the Afonjas in Yoruba history. Afonja was a warrior in Ilorin, and i believe entitled to the throne. He however lost in a war to Alimi.
Regardless, losing a war doesn't make you a coward. It definitely doesn't make you less of a person. At least you faced a battle, and gave it your all.
