the Nigerian blogosphere was recently saturated with the news of a 50 years old woman who recently got married for the first time.
she happened to be one of my spiritual mothers and she once told us her touching story of how someone wanted to marry her years back but she was forming.
as a young and beautiful lady who just finished her secondary school, she needed to further her education but she has no support from her family. a young man came around wanted to marry her but she said she wanted to go school.
the guy agreed to sponsor her education but she insist that she would not marry him.
the guy agreed to this and sponsored her education with the hope that she would change her mind in future.
at the end of her program, she still turned him down. the guy left never to return again.
to God be the glory she just got married last week even though it's at the age of 50.
