What if bakayoko failed to adjust to premier league demand like Batshuayi... Have u seen a midfielder of his caliber without premier league experience performing at his best.. Your analysis in terms of money is right but performance wise. We will have to watch out.. Don't forget that Matic played very well last season but he was not appreciated. For Manchester they got the deal right. Manchester crop of midfielder are in experience in challenging for the league title. The problem Manchester faced last season is in that department. So bringing in an experience player of that calibre from ur rival is a big deal... Mourinho got it right... Magic can still play kick ass 5yrs on... His experience is valuable to the team. His posture is very good... He his not a lazy player |

In terms of sales and profit, chelsea got an amazing deal considering that Matic is already in his prime and Bakayoko is waaay younger but if there's one thing the EPL has thought us is that the league itself is on another level. Bakayoko could come in an flop not that he's a bad player but due to the nature of the league using Pogba's performance last season as reference. on the other hand, utd will be getting one of the best midfield anchors in the league. If the Monaco man should come through, the deal will definitely be a coup. 1 Like |

Matic deal is not yet confirmed and if it's eventually done, I would still say Chelsea got the better of the deal because bakayoko is resourceful, energy filled and more creative to matic |
