IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s life may be under threat of assassination, LeadersNG have gathered.

The Umuahia born Biafran leader spent nearly 2 years in detention for allegedly committing treason. He was subsequently released on bail on medical grounds and received a hero’s welcome on his return.

Nnamdi Kanu’s newly acquired fame may be his undoing as he may have been marked for death by top South Eastern politicians for his stance against elections in the South East. Nnamdi Kanu has openly called for Igbos to boycott elections in the South East and the November Anambra 2017 Gubernatorial elections. While a lot of people rebuked his statement, a vast majority of Igbos are likely to obey the IPOB leader who continues to amass more followers with each passing day.
