The presidency has officially confirmed that the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has already compiled the list of names of Ministers, to be sacked, any time from now.

This came based on the fallout of Tuesday’s London meeting, between President Muhammadu Buhari and Osinbajo.

We gathered that the looming massive sack and shake-up, has caused anxiety among members of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.

According to top sources, the need to reshuffle the cabinet for “efficiency”, was one of the key issues discussed between the President and the Acting President.

A source who spoke in full confidence, said: “There is a likely shake-up of the cabinet, in line with the new fast-pace focus of the Buhari administration. Some of the Ministers cannot cope with the portfolios assigned to them.

“Some Ministers, were also found to be behind the crisis of confidence between the Executive and the National Assembly.

“So, apart from dropping some, others may swap portfolios for efficiency. It is just some restructuring of the Cabinet, to ensure efficiency.

“Obviously, there is disquiet in the Cabinet on this latest development. I think the likely changes in the Cabinet, accounted for the delay in inaugurating two Ministers-designate.

“I cannot tell you when the changes will be effected, but the Cabinet shake-up came up as an item between the two leaders”, the source said.

What of the recent data bundle increase that was done secretly? It is the job of the communication ministry to ensure good network and customer service from telecom sectors.

As for power, Yes I would maintain that it needs to be reshuffle because the bulk of load on Fashola is too much and doesn't degrade the fact that he is not doing his best.

The minister of petroleum is the most incompetent.

This Ogashub will just be conjuring out news from his imagination. He will just twist a trending news, and add his own imagination to it

So some of you want to reverse the progress we are already making in the Power sector just because you dont like Fashola or because you're envious of the position he occupies in this administration?

It's those who dont follow the happenings in the Power sector anyway that calls for his removal

But remember we have to spend a whole lot now again if the Power, Works and Housing ministry would be unbundled.

I'll just advice that the current merger should be left until 2019, after that the unbundling can then take place.

We can then have Ministry of Power, Ministry of Works and Housing.

Despite the limited funds, Fashola is doing his best so far in coordinating the affairs of those merged ministries.

But I dont envy the pressure he is on though.

Are you really sure you know what you are talking about. That nigerians will get power when they pay for it？or that it should be the other way round？
All over the world you pay for what you consume in energy or you are also saying that the government will make our refineries work when nigerians are ready to pay for petrol.
It is only in Buhari government that a lawyer who cannot even manage his household power is heading a power ministry.
There is a great difference between being a governor and a power minister or commissioner.
Commissioners and ministers are supposed to be experts in there respective ministries.
Lest I forget even during Abacha regime we had more power supply than what we are having now and people were paying for it so the excuse for non payment is not tenable when no power is supplied or you expect payment for supply of darkness？
