In the face of dwindling oil revenues, Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said the Federal Government has borrowed about N473billion to pay salaries and fund the 2015 budget.

The Minister, who was speaking in Abuja on the details of the N4.493trillion appropriation already passed by the National Assembly, said the federal government had to raise its borrowing level from N570 billion to N882 billion to enable it meet its financial obligations to workers and contractors.

The minister blamed it on the decline in oil revenue in late 2014, which accounted for 50 per cent cut in the total federally collectible revenue as well as the low revenue receipts from non-oil sources. Most times, I question the level of your reasoning. When you see the truth, you still believe in lies

The situation of the country today is not because apc came to power. It's because the country lost trillions of dollars in revenue as oil price dropped to 40$ in 2015 and 2016. Even if pdp was still in power during this period it might have been worse as it's a party built on looting with impunity. PDP will never rule this country again by hook or by crook. Mahmoud is not Jega. Winning a senatorial election in osun shouldn't make these pdp bastards start having an erection for aso rock. Apc no good, apc no good, yet they have won 70 percent of all elections conducted in 2016 and 2017. Mtcheew. Dreamers....................................................................................................................................................................................

Pls Help Me Tell This Mumu Gullible Zoo People Again. If PDP Were Still In Aso Rock Up Till Now, You Wey You Still Dey See Garri Drink For This Apc Regime... Perhaps Na Gutter Water You Go Dey Drink By Now Or Make Hunger Don Kill Una Throway!!! Awon Ode Oloorun!!!

GEJ is too gentle (& stained) to be the leading light to revive the PDP. but if the party insist on using him, then, its best the party quickly puts forth its presidential candidate so that GEJ's faults are not used extensively against the party.

a Dankwanbo/Adesina or Dankwanbo/Elumelu or Dankwanbo/Stan combo would not be too bad.

we must begin to vote based on abilities...

Based on Buhari's abysmal performance, I swear it's a walk over for GEJ.

Besides APC have foolishly unleashed all their weapons at him to keep him in the background so there's nothing new they want to say that will be new.

You have shifted the goal post again. Let me educate you for the final time. Because I noticed, your source of information is as a result of hearsay from your friends.

1) Nigeria currency is not dollar. Invariably F.G has a limited control over it.

2) The Dollar exchange has more to do with international price of crude oil especially among the OPEC nations.

3) The higher the price of crude oil, the more dollars in the CBN treasure/ availability because in the international markets, the crude oil is sold in Dollars. This was because we sold more crude oil at higher rate.( Dollar rate).

4) During the 2011 uptill 2014 when crude oil at international market was above 100/ 120 dollar per barrel. The dollar was sold below N160 to N190.

5) In late 2014/ 2015 , during which GEJ was still the president. The international crude oil per barrel dropped to 54 Dollar per barrel and suddenly the dollar rose up till N260.

6) Since the only larger source of foreign income in Nigeria is crude oil. Any adverse effect of crude oil automatically affects the exchange of dollars.
Next time you want to debate, don't debate like a market woman. Pat Utomi and Okojo Iwela, the great economists , you know will tell you, Nigeria has no control over dollars as long as we only rely on crude oil as our only source of foreign revenue.

As for the leader of the party, no wonder the APC keep calling his name at every turn.

March 1, 2011, a significant drop in Libyan production and fears of more instability in other countries pushed the price of oil over $100 a barrel in New York trading, while the average price of gas reached $3.37. Despite Saudi promises, the sour type oil the country exported could not replace the more desirable sweet Libyan oil.[55] On March 7, 2011, the average price of gas having reached $3.57, individuals were making changes in their driving.[56]

The weakened U.S. Dollar resulted in a spike to $112/barrel with the national average of $3.74/gallon
I wouldn't know where you get your edited version from. It remains on record, the highest price of crude oil was during GEJ era.

When TuFace wanted to carried out nationwide protests, against bad governance, you people criticised him and threatened him. He backed off to his paradise to mind his businesses. Yet, we started complaining again.

All the politicians, ministers, commissioners, senators/lawmakers members and cabals APC government/Aso Rock were in elected office holders in their various states with zero performance. Because Nigerians preferred being lied to and deceived with fakes promises by their politicians and government, they ended up voting the wrong people/APC as a party into government.

These days Nigerians youths are scared of death, yet, they wants to go to heaven.

Unlike before no single person had balla to demands for self determination due to bad governance from Nigeria and the United Nations. Everyone were under the pu*******s with excuses that they are the first sons and daughters of their families. They had families, they don't want to die leave their sons and daughters, yet, suffering and smiling.

Today, with the courageous strength of God in Nnamdi Kanu as liberation master, everyone are now started opening their mouths to criticising bad governance against the people all over the world, while those still don't have positive purposes for their unborn children are still in salivary comas condemning Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB for telling the whole world the undiluted truths.

Nigerians should learn to speak out their minds publicly not by hiring protests against oppositions/opponents.

Congratulations PDP.
