Angelica Hale, an adorable 9-year-old, delivered a powerful rendition of Andra Day’s “Rise Up.” See her surprising performance on America’s Got Talent. She’s very good. She seemed aided somewhat by her overall charisma, but for nine years old she’s got a huge future. More than that, it seems like she seems to genuine like being on stage.

The Atlanta-native told the judges she wanted to be “the next Whitney Houston” and went on to sing “Rise Up.” Absolutely reminiscent of Whitney’s superstar power, Angelica had the whole crowd taken with her incredible voice. Following the performance, Angelica had tears in her eyes and her parents cried off-stage with Tyra. “Your tiny, your voice is huge,” Simon said, shocked. “I predict that all of your dreams are going to come true!” Howie added. Four yes’s, of course! GO, Angelica!
