Otulord:The calculator is developed using algorithm derived from the details JAMB gave about how points are scored. For example, if your O'level result is in 1 sitting, u automatically have 10 points. If it is combined O'level, u have 2 points for that. Also, in O'level, Grades A = 6 points B = 4 points and C = 3 points As for JAMB, there are range of values. The calculator is made thus: first develop formulas based on Jamb rules, derive algorithm based on the formulas, write a software/calculator using the algo. Everyone that has used it said it is accurate! Of course, it should be.  |
