Hello.
Few days ago, I discovered two of my local Hen layed some eggs independently.

Nursing this plan already, I quickly bought 5 Guinea eggs from the market and removed 3 eggs from Hen A that already layed 4 eggs to Hen B which had 6 eggs already.

Hence, Hen A =1 egg plus 5 Guinea eggs 6 eggs
Hen B. 6 eggs plus 3eggs = 9 eggs.

Hen B has gone broody already about 3 days ago.

Hen A layed additional 1 egg making it 7 eggs.

Here is the plan.

Guinea incubation period is 28/30 while hen is 19/21 days.

To balance this and ensure the chicken hatch both eggs successfully, I will need to remove the chicken egg for about 9days once the Hen goes broody and leave the guinea egg.

So far this morning I noticed Hen B hasnt left her mini bedroom lols..

I will watch and see...

Alright, I just discovered Hen B has officially gone broody, I extracted the hen eggs for keeping while the Guinea eggs are still under her warmth.

The aim of extracting the hen egg is to ensure the incubation timeframe collide.

I will return the eggs in 8 days time.
