That Casablanca airport is so local... Long runway though... My best touch down ever was at that airport. So smooth. I was like WOW!!! Was even tempted to clap for the Captain.. Don't ask me if I did. Lol

You are right... The airport is very local, most of the direction and instruction displayed on the screen in the airport is in Arabic language, the airport officials are hostile.

Ethiopia airline should do it. I once flew Rwanda air about 3 yrs back. Was the most uncomfortable flight I've been in with no where to hang ur leg, small chairs and worst of all the screen . You have 1 screen to 3 people not the usual of you having your own screen and we all have to watch same thing meaning you can't watch movies of your choice or anything u like . I had to go to their office in Dubai to ask if I could get a refund for my return ticket but it wasn't feasible. To worsen the whole journey ,the officials at their airport seized all drinks I bought in Dubai duty free (about 4 bottles of Jack Daniels) as well as other peoples food items etc said they won't allow anybody board with food or drinks. The stupid official even told me its either I drink my whisky or leave it so I had to ask him is that how you drink whisky? To cut the story short, I had to almost finish a bottle of Jack Daniels before entering the flight.
you want die, it happened to me on transit from kenyetta airport in Nairobi , had a bottle of bear and red white from the previous flight but airline refused me board unless I drink it I had to opent it and waste it because of the guys approach

Emirates is bae...flew LOS-DXB-IAH. The hostesses were courteous, planes were neat. Food was amazing, beef stroganoff tasted like Gordon Ramsay made it.
I had an 8hr layover in DXB, got bussed to a Copthorne hotel where there was a buffet style dinner. The downside was you had to pay for internet at the hotel.
I will fly them again.

Hmmmm... Royal Air Maroc... d last time I had a stop over of 10hrs sitting around their dry airport @Casablanca, just bcus they shifted my flight date with no prior info. it was d longest stop over ever witnessed in my life. Little did I know that my own case was just a child's play, on arrival at casablanca,i met some other passengers mostly from African countries who were going to other countries that hve been there for 4 days without accommodation. Pple were scattered all over d airport without any word from d airline's authority. Not until when there was riot b4 they attended to dem. Ever since, I have stopped travelling with dem. The good side of dem is that their air fare is a little bit cheap. But my best experience so far with an African airline is EGYPT air , had an 11 hrs stop over and we were logged in a 4 star hotel, I was given a presidential suite with my family and the flight attendants were so friendly and they almost killed us with food. And dia air fare is Wahu! So cheap.... grin

I am replying from Brazil, I came here last month with Royal Air Maroc. Extremely safe.
- Individual entertainment package
- good meal
- friendly cabin crew (but you need french to flow with them)
- well maintain aircraft
- affordable flights

Kenya Airways is quite good, but they have had cases of delayed flights in recent times.

I don't know why they often use such low grade planes when flying into Nigeria. angry Yet, you see the same airlines using more comfortable planes with plenty of leg room, when flying into South Africa.

Flew Kenya airways last year to Heathrow and I had a wonderful experience... they look us in a small plane to nairobi thou.
Kenya and Ethiopian airways would do it for African airlines.

As I type this heennnn...I am stuck at Abu dhabi...took Etihad form lagos to Heathrow and back....God, I am suffering. It all started from MMIA...they could not check in my baby, they had issues with checking in infant on thei system, so they gave us a hand written boarding pass and asked that I should liaise with their transfer desk at Abu dhabi...those ones were able to print th boarding pass.. so off we went to Heathrow. Then the return flight for sat 30 sept was for 3pm...I could not check in online as I still can't check in my baby, got to th airport and stayed on the line..got to my turn and the attendent on desk C26, with the name tag Karen said I won't go with the plane cos I have not checked in online...told her all my issues of not been able to check in online from lagos and still can't check in cos of the infant...Omo she no gree ooo....she said I was suppose to be at the queue 3hrs before departure...na so Etihad no carry me oooo...was left with my 9month baby and wife. Had to call my travel agent who booked another etihad for 3pm Oct 1 a no show at 310k..so I slept at premier Inn at healthrow for 73 pounds...I was at the airport by 12noon...checked in, flight didn't depart till 4.30pm ooo for a 3pm flight.so we got to Abu Dhabi 2.30. The connecting flight to lagos had gone already so they arranged for Egypt air..unfortunately Egypt air has been delayed till 10am Abu Dhabi time, worst case in even if we take the Egypt air at 10, we won't get a flight to lagos till 24hrs again....we are begging them to let's take a bus to dubai and at least connect lagos with emirate...they said emirate Is not their partner airline, qatar air is a no go area cos of th GCC crises...as I type, I don't even know what they want to do. We are stranded inside the airport. They don't wanna take us to an hotel and their is no hope of leaving here soon.

Henceforth...if I cannot afford a direct flight...menn, na to stay for house..no vacation.

First, u suppose knw na say dem no dey allow alcohol for flight na though, if you insist with a reason, they will test it and check it in properly insulated, but who get time for those ones. Ordinary perfume, luftansa no gree make i carry reach franfurt. The lady insisted that it contains alcohol and the container is enough to bring down a plane. I just throw the thing for trash there, talkless of 4 liters of jack daniel.

Egypt air with layover in cairo. Flight itself was okay but it emphasise why I dont do non direct flight.

We landed at Cairo at 8pm and did not get into the hotel room until 2am to leave at 5am totally disgraceful and disorganised hotel arrangrments especially travelling with children. Hotel le passage look good from the outside food was excellent but rooms given was in the slum quarters at the back, dirty room with equipment needing repairs and tissue soiled with body fluid on the floor(shudders).

Never again unless I am just going to cairo.

They also took powerbanks in cairo and staff especially women were openingly laughing and mocking passengers such a totally disgraceful attitude.

You are right, na all airlines dey do am. Especially when coming to Nigeria. Just like last year when I travelled with IBERIA airlines b4 they stopped coming to Nigeria. Their plane from Lagos to Spain just be like Molue but come see d connecting flight from Madrid to London, the plane just be like RollRoyce grin... and I have studied this over time. The foreign airlines bring yeye plane to come carry us from Naija but the connecting flight to other country is always so neat and big. I think it's a govt thing.

In my opinion, Ethiopian Airlines are the best. I've flown them multiple times and I've never had any cause to regret flying them. Their air hostesses are courteous; in-flight meals are fairly good; in-flight entertainment is great with an array of movies and music to choose from; and there's ample leg room for passengers to stretch their legs. Above all, their duty-free is nice. I particularly like buying perfumes there.
