Bro; your approval is closer than you think. You need a perfect response to the questions the VO asked. I will suggest you take your time and contact Bosses who have a very good experience in this TRV matter. cc: Osemigbo jnyuwa02 Austinpine4 maziude.. Not all the moniker spellings are correct. Wow that's sad, I've learnt so much here and would gladly help someone else to the best of my knowledge even though no trv yet.

We should learn to give freely.. What goes around comes around and if you must pay, I'll rather do Fiverr

Congratulations
quote author=Nogen post=63259583]TRV approved in 3 days!!!

My husband visit visa just got approved in 3 days !!! We initially applied on the 24th of November and he was refused on the 1st of Dec. It was our fault because we didn't do somethings right , especially with documentation to prove he is returning after some weeks.

He was refused based on Travel history, Assets (Home Ties). He is a very busy person that even when he got a visa years back, he didn't use it. He never really likes travelling. Lol. Then, we didn't include documents to show his 4 landed property in Nigeria, his shares, etc.

He reapplied on the 8th of Dec with copies of deeds of assignments on his 4 property , his shares certificates in about 11 companies, power of attorney on clients property he is managing, listed all the major companies and individuals he is servicing as a solicitor and attorney. He made a reservation at a hotel in the city we are going to. The document was also attached.

Then , he enclosed a Letter of Explanation to address his lack of travel history, why he needs to travel with us, his home ties . I tried to get someone to help with his letter as Oga hardly had time that period. The person asked me to pay 20k! 20k, for SOP? He was even asking that we postpone our travel date! That we wouldn't get a visa that soon. Hian! Like he is the one giving the TRV. I totally called his bluff and went ahead with my plans. Some of us here are beginning to act like God.

Anyway, when Oga returned from work, I told him about the situation. He said he will create time to write it. I shouldn't pay a dime to anyone. 1am on the day he submitted his application, we got up, while I helped him fill his application online, he wrote a beautiful piece and addressed every concern of the VO one after the other . I then helped him type it out, printed and arranged his documents one after the other. In fact, we didn't sleep that night. We finished by 7 am and began to prepare for work. Both of us driving to our offices. We just advised each other to avoid any long distance driving that could make us sleep on the steering.

Now, my mind is at peace. Been cracking my head on how to handle 3 active toddlers on this journey alone. Also, how to cope till I get a permanent accommodation. At least, he will sort us out and help us settle in well before he returns to his job in January.

Note: Believe in yourself, in as much as you seek advise from the 'gurus' here, trust your instinct, believe you can also do the task. There are people here who would genuinely help you without collecting a dime. Some have turned it a business venture. That's why I always commend Maziude. He never asked for a dime. In fact, he helped me at some point post a document to Quebec with his money. I haven't met him physically and I look forward to doing that. My husband and I can't wait to see him in Canada. Thanks all. If you need help with your SOP, kindly send me an email nogen1234@yahoo.com. Will be able to assist some people before we leave for Canada. It is free of charge please . [/quote]

Pls, I sincerely need your guidance on how a graduate of business administration with advanced diploma in security management, specialist in criminology and also a member of institute of institute security in Nigeria can apply into any institute in Canada. I'm kinda confused on the steps to take and would really appreciate if you can assist by educating me on steps to be taken. Kind regards.
Firstly, you will have to identify what you truly want and what your desirables are. This will help you cluster your aim and project you as a genuine student when you eventually apply for your study permit.

That being mentioned, your next move should be a graduate program preferably a master degree program. However, since there is a little career switch in your progression, you may want to look for a program in this field. A PGD in security would also suffice. Note that in choosing and getting admitted in either program, you MUST satisfy an officer that your choice program is what you need and what would help you move up in advancement of your CURRENT indulgence.

A PGD would sail since it is a new field from your previous degree and also a step forward in your current activity. A master degree would even make it easier if you can get one. Issues surrounding choice of program often time are raised because these programs are not presented to officers in such a way that it shows the applicant's interest, plans and intention to leave Canada upon completion of program.

You should pay attention to these areas and outline them in your application and why it is significant for you. Once you are able to do so, you would likely have a good chance with your study permit application.

First question is

What compelled such switch? If it is strong enough, and she can convince the visa officer, then she has a chance. Otherwise, It will be difficult.

To some extent yes but not solely. There should be evidence of such interest and from instances that would show that indeed it is genuinely intended and not a ploy to leave the country. SOP alone may not be enough considering her age and assumed priorities(the VO will figure this out through his/her discretion).

Compelling enough as well as convincing enough. Anybody can write anything they don't actually mean. Nothing beats evidence with written words. That will be her best bet.

Nobody just wakes up and switch career. There must be a reason or preceding activity in the new field. She must convince the officer that such switch is not out of frustration but from passion or a strong interest.

Hello house.i have been following this thread for some time now.i want to say great job u guys are doing here.please I have a question.i am interested in usask and have been composing sop for supervisor for about a month now.(not funny)Until I read where it says that you send an email to a supervisor and a 'brief description of area of research intent'.please I will like to know if this is the same as the statement of purpose which the School require that I Attach when I am about applying for admission. I want to apply for MSC in plant science .if it's different,is this brief description of area of research interests referring to only Phd applicants or both phd and msc.someone please help me out.thank you
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Dominic147(m): 7:15pm On Dec 14, 2017
Thanks for the reply bro... i stated everything in my statement of purpose
1. The program is process quality engineering and it's a pgd program.
2. It was stated in my sop why i wanted to study the course abroad and my plans after the program and why d program is important to me.
3. The 6mil was paid to my personal account and not my dorm acc and i backed the statement up with a letter of sponsorship from my dad stating the he paid d money to my account and d money is accessible by me.
4. I studied chemical engineering in my first degree and the program is a bit related to my previous course of study. Your swift reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Good day and sorry for the visa delay. Could you please tell the house
1-the program you applied for Msc or Pgd?
2-Did your SOP answer questions like why you’re going outside the country to study instead of Nigeria? your plans after the program? Why the program is important to you?
3-I am assuming the 6mill was paid into a dom acc to show you’re ready to spend the currrency in Canada. Also as a company director did you present any personal financial statement to show you’ve been earning with a reasonable amount saved up
4- the program you’re going for is it in relation with your previous study
Looking forward to your reply

The course you applying for and what you had to say in your SOP were the culprit. Otherwise your stats were more than impressive to secure a TRV based on the stipulated reasons for delay. Care to enlighten the house on what kind of MBA this is and what you said in your SOP? Why cant you study MBA in Nigeria and decided on a long, arduous and expensive journey to Canada? Think like a VO.

Boss, masters in business administration with intention of majoring in finance. I chose MBA as it seems reasonable progression in my career. As to your last question, I don't think I was able to convince the VO as to why I can't study MBA in Nigeria. I will be needing help here

Sorry for the delay. Pls if I may advice, carry all ur documents @bolded then just add IELTS (General training) and move to the express entry thread. You are over qualified to become a Canadian permanent resident.

You won't spend up to a quarter of all these plenty school fees to complete the process. And you'll get to pay domestic student fees as a PR + other benefits. Mind u, na u and ur whole family go be PR

I have reported at the express entry thread grin, with a crs score of 335. A very fast passed thread. I'm still working my way up the thread.
