Battle Of Wits As Wike Pushes Amaechi To Back Seat. by chrisxxx(m): 2:34pm On Jul 27, 2017
Amaechi as usual came with his surprises by coming with the Acting President to River State on the sole invitation of Gov. Wike to the commissioning of some projects built by Wike in the state.
The following happened.
With the craft landing while Wike was expecting The Acting President to descend it was Amaechi that came out first. As if this was not enough to concuss Wike, the next person to emerge was Senator Abe. I mean it Wike looked dazed. Trust the Acting President he understands all this subversion. He did not allow political divides to becloud his sense of judgement as he accorded Wike the respect due a governor by walking into Wike's warm arm of welcome.
Surprisingly, there was a helicopter waiting to pick the Acting President arranged by Amaechi without the knowledge of Wike. Wike insisted that the Acting President must board the car he had arranged to pick him. It was obvious for security reason and ease of movement the Acting President would prefer air movement to road movement. Amaechi won here.
The last battle was how would the governor follow the Acting President as Amaechi and Abe were already in the craft. They are like water and oil they dont mix together. Wike was man enough he followed the Acting President to the craft and insisted he must sit side-by-side with the august visitor. There was no option than asking the initial occupants to move to the back seats.

Interesting.

The unending conspicuous feud between these two actors is a clear demonstration of political immaturity. Dudes don't even pretend to like each other.

Stop spilling rubbish from your mouth, the vice is not in rivers state on the invitation of the governor. Stay here analysing what you don't know instead of aspiring to be like one them.

You got it correctly until the bolded. He is the chief executive of the state. He cannot be a CEO and at time a Gateman.

Op, can you just write a story devoid of sentiment? Wike is the sitting Governor of Rivers state and their host. You don't expect him to sideline the number one man in Nigeria at expense of a minister and a senator.

What we have witnessed here is a simple protocol and it follows due process.
