A thief was apprehended while stealing armored cable wires at Umuguma Owerri neighborhood, Imo State capital. He was caught by residents of the neighborhood, as he was stripped unclad, beaten and was about to be set ablaze before police officers come to rescue him.

He was nabbed at Umuguma back of three decking at Abba father and in the process of being lynched, the police came to his rescue. According to some people, he has been terrorizing the neighborhood, breaking into people's shops before his capture.

Inasmuch I detest jungle justice, the Police should also make criminals face the full penalty for offences committed and not receive bribes and release them immediately. Nigerians have lost faith in the Police, the reason many take laws in to their hands.

We are not barbarians but the Police should learn to do the needful. A better Nigeria is a collective effort.

It would have been a little bit easy for me to have any sympathy for this idiot, but for the first time, i understand the consequences of what pricks like him do.
We've had no power in my street for almost a week now because some unfortunate souls decided to go into the transformer house and steal cables their great grand father didn't buy. No light means business are affected, we're spending more to power electronics and pump water into the tank.
It would have been better if he'd been lynched. The world could do without another useless soul.
