Culture and traditions change please don't use poverty as an example. There are a lot of countries much poorer than Nigeria ( which is poor-rich). Change of culture and tradition occur three ways the most poignant one is diffusion. This is when culture from one society cultural traits permeates another. As Nigerians we are found everywhere on this planet even in Siberia we have imported good and bad traits from other cultures this is inevitable.

Women with questionable morals on the other hand have existed since time in memorial. We just happen to have a lot of them based on population size. As for teaching the children of you are parent or intending on being one that will be your role not anyone else's.
