Yes they do work, however they usually come with some potential adverse effects.
Some cause disproportionate enlargement.
You could experience irregular contours of your skin, esp ur butt.
After prolonged use, the skin begins to shrink if you dare to stop it. Skin also becomes fragile
Many of these creams are estrogen base products, and so a little systemic absorption could take place with prolonged use leading to the effects of exogenous estrogen use. These are just but a few.
