The Nigerian Senate recently alleged that 30 companies have been involved in the loss of revenue believed to be N30 trillion in the maritime sector in the country. As part of its investigative duties, the senate last Wednesday gave an arrest order on the Chief Executive Officers of the affected companies after officials of the companies refused to honor the invitation of its Joint Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff and Maritime Transport, in spite of several reminders.

Here is an exclusive list of the affected 30 companies and some of the CEOs:

3. British American Tobacco – CEO – Nicandro Durante.

4. CCECC – CEO – Yuan Li.

5. Dana Group – CEO – Birbal Singh Dana.

6. Olam Int. Ltd – CEO – Sunny George Verghese.

7. Hong Xing Steel Co. Ltd. – CEO – Lin Quiantao

8. Visafone – CEO – K. V. Srinivasa / Jim Ovia

9. African Wire

10. Star Comments and Allied Ltd

11. Aarti Steel – CEO – Sohan Lal Mittal.

12. Abyem-Diva Int. Ltd – CEO – Leke Abejide.

13. Gagasel International

14.Friesland Campina CEO – Cees C. ‘t Hart / R. J. Streetskamp Bob.

Jus imagine... Almost all of dem are foreigners and more than half of dem are even Indians.. Are we trying to say foreigners came into our country and found a way to bypass paying their maritime bills?? Abeggi.. Invite all d top officials from d maritime authority as well and watch d can of worms dat would b opened... D Senate and also some top govt ppl are definitely involved...

Funny enuf! Don't be surprised the bribe this people paid to bypass their bills may be more than the legit payment. Corruption has eaten deep in the mind of Nigerians. We now legalise then corrupt ways above the legal way.

Good move by the Senate. Police should effect the arrest quick and bring them to justice

Nigeria .......sigh. well, God knows why am born into this country and I said OH GOD if its a sin of my descendant that led my birth in Nigeria . kindly forgive so my children may know no suffernesss in the hands of this wicked leaders bestowed upon us for some reason unknown to many of us Nigerians cuz this wickedness is beyond normal reasoning
