When Rasaq Malik Gbolahan shared this story with me, I read it and wept and just left the tab open. The plan was to keep checking the comments session of the post for three days, before acting. Today, the third day, not even a single comment on Daily Tribune's website where the following heart-wrenching story was first published. Neither am I seeing it in blogs, accidental journalists' hubs...
.
The story mirrors a looming calamity that would befall all of us—tomorrow's people, in the not-too-distant future, if we don't act now!
.
P.S. Enough of the selfish religious, gender, political, class, sexual orientation, ethnic, nationalist, and whatever mundane ideology we represent, that further divides us. Don't we see that the unfeeling elites are united across these diversities (on all fronts), irrespective of their beliefs? Isn't that sufficient reason why they always defeat our numberless mass? If you love humanity, if you "love thine neighbour as thyself", please let's act now! Should our generation be worse or better than the generation of our fathers? It all depends on all of us. ... Please tag as many a blogger, Activist, lawyer, human rights advocate, writer, and more to this post. This should be one of the reasons why we lift placards in protest, in solidarity, not for selfish political gains.
.
Nairalanders please cc. Lalastica and other Nairaland heavyweights (MODs) to please move this to Front Page. Let's fight for our children. Have mercy please
.
"At the back of the prison chapel was a boy not less than 13 years old, suffering from stroke. According to his friend who brought him, he was physically fit, but had become sick, more or less a vegetable, depending on others for survival."

Op with conscience.
These so called under age boys are not under age in their ferocity in crime. They are more deadly than their adult accomplices. Believe from Oshodi to ojuelegba to ojota, they are brutal and not innocent.
Take care of the ones not in rehab yet, so they dont end up there. There would always be a need for such centres cause of these juvenile delinquents.
