But how come no body is seeing that the said N10,000 was not donated by GT Bank but Medical Students Association? Nobody care to reason how a whole corporate entity of GTB stature will donate 10k and present same through a poorly printed flex banner. Oh com'on, that's not possible.
The departmental association, for ceremonial sake, just printed a banner in form of a cheque instructing the bank to pay one of their own who happens to graduate tops of her class/whole school, and the whole nation is dragging a bank for it? Just because the logo of the bank was printed on the flex; but they failed to see the issuer of the mock cheque boldly printed on it. Even some organised media houses who are supposed to know better by atleast investigating the news first are running their mouth too. Na wa o!

Please People Sweden or Canada, which is the best to work and immigrate to? I need answers from all nairalanders. Please show some love and care.

I don't know much about Sweden, but I can tell you a bit about Canada. I think these are some of the factors you may want to consider in making your choice - cost of living, climate, health care, job opportunities, social inclusivity/racism, paths to permanent residency/citizenship (if that interests you), cultural differences, etc.

Cost of living – the general rule is that cost of living is higher in bigger cities than in smaller towns. So, if your school is in, let’s say, Vancouver, and you plan to live near your campus, you will need to spend significantly more on rent than someone who lives 2-hour drive away. You can minimize the money you spend on grocery shopping by targeting special sales offers.

Climate – Canada is generally cold but it also depends on which province you choose. Areas near large water bodies e.g. Vancouver generally experience milder winters and summers compared to areas far inland such as Manitoba. Generally, the southern provinces (Ontario, etc.) are not as cold as the northern provinces (Yukon, etc.). The caveat is that most of the southern provinces stretch from the south to the north. So, while the lower part of Ontario may be slightly cold (e.g. -25 deg C in winter), places in northern Ontario may be way colder than that). Vancouver (to the far west) has probably the mildest winter in Canada, though it rains a lot during the winter.

Physical mobility/ ease of transportation - Canada is a much bigger country and that comes with its advantages and disadvantages. For example, except in major Canadian cities such as Toronto and Vancouver, public transportation is not as efficient as you would find in most of Western Europe. So, if you are not driving, you may find it difficult getting from one point to another - with proper planning, you should be just fine. Another implication is that you may not get to see your friends and family who live far away in months or even years.

Social inclusivity/racism – People in Canada seem to be generally easy and polite. Unlike the USA, Canada is more of a cultural mosaic than a melting pot of different cultures. Don’t be surprised if the worst treatment you’d experience would come from your ‘own people’.

Paths to permanent residency/citizenship - Finally, if you plan to stay back to work and live after college, Canada seems to provide easier pathways to permanent residency/citizenship.

Good one. This is the type of people we need in our country. After years of hardwork, prayer, determination and one eventually gets what is not worth it.
