#6.26n only on cars while some States in Nigeria doesn't receive up till that amount in their one year budget.

Not counting on the unemployed youths in Nigeria
Not mentioning the doctors and working conditions
Even rehabilitation of roads
Nigeria is a big joke

I didn't need to read further than the point where they said Peugeot 508 cars are utility vehicles to be used for carrying out oversight functions. Issorai!!!

Even if they'll buy vehicles, can't they just patronize Made-In-Nigeria brands as Innoson?

Military decree cum Constitution give these guys so much power and room for excesses.
Come to think of it, 17m for a Peugeot car, that's bleeping too much.
But what can an average citizen do about that?

But can I even say?

Seriously the problem of this country is pregnant and still nursing a baby!

Nigeria has been raped by few group of people who call themselves our leaders, the country is now pregnant and the pregnancy is suspected to be conjoined triplet
Re: Buying N6.1bn Cars For Reps In National Interest – Reps Committee Chair by UgojiC(m): 11:07am On Aug 13, 2017
You can go and make your findings. Peugeot is one of the cheapest cars we can get in Nigeria. Outside this country, you will
realise that what we have paid here is cheaper. Besides, our real aim was to patronise a car made in Nigeria, so that it would
have some impact on the economy.

who are they fooling? amongst the many lies the one that caught my attention is where he said that at the end of the tenure they do not take away the cars for personal use, instead they are valued and the official can buy the car if need be. now if he buys the car that would mean purchasing a new set of cars for the next tenure. isn't that wasteful? in a country where there is so much starvation these people cannot use a brand new car for 4 years and pass it on to the next set?

And the man is even the committee chairman. Took his time to spew rubbish in other to defend the NONSENSE decision of the House. I am very sorry for this country if people like this continues to rule us. Let us all use 2019 Elections to chunk out useless LEADERS that is if the Election will hold anyways.

2019 election or not the best thing is to scrap the constitution given to us by the military, let the people make their own constitution of how they want to be governed themselves.

It is disheartening to hear such things as this topic in a country where people are starving to death. No welfare system yet some people are buying 17m naira vehicles what happened to about 20 units of Hiace Buses that can convey committees to their various project sites.

No equity and Justice in this country and this will end very soon.

The government is not a people's government but a Politician's government.

As far as am concerned the Nigerian people have no government.

see these shameless bastards we have as senators? they are always the ones holding this country back, they waste every money that can be used to improve the lives of the common man. every time they are buying cars, why cant each senator use part of his allowance to buy the car he needs for running errands? why must they alway put our country to shame with their brainless decisions and behaviours?
