How to truly identify a true Prophet of God Almighty

The best way that I know of to identify a TRUE PROPHET would be to use the Word of God ALONE to do so. Fact is, if a Prophet IS sent by the Christian God who wrote the Christian Bible, then common sense would be that to identify same would be BY that Christian God's Word...

Deuteronomy 18:21-22, "And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD have not spoken? When a prophet Speaks in the name of the LORD CHRIST, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD have not spoken, but the prophet have spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him."

The true Prophet of the Lord predicts that which does come to pass. If the Prophet's predictions fail, they are exposed as NOT of God.

2 Numbers 12:6, "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream."

The true Prophet of the Lord will receive visions or dreams from the Lord which always comes to pass all the time.

Numbers 24:4 "He has said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:"

Numbers 24:16, "He has said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:"
When in "vision" their eyes will be open and they will see what the Almighty God is saying.

Daniel 10:17, "For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me."

When in "vision" a true Prophet will NOT breathe. "Inspiration" = God Breathed, Therefore, since the Almighty is breathing through the Prophet communicating His Truth, the Prophet has no need to breath, to inspire himself, neither be inspired by others.

Daniel 10:18, "Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,"

Once "touched in the "vision" the Prophet receives supernatural strength. There is always supernatural strengthening from above for the true Prophet and not some strange charms or concoction.

Jeremiah 28:9, "The prophet which prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD God Almighty have truly sent him."

A true Prophet will be 100% accurate. there is absolutely no margin for error. At the beginning of the year so many preachers give out prophecy, the question is, how many of those come to pass??, yet, every year they keep prophesying thus said the LORD, when he hasn't said anything.

2 Peter 1:20, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

A true Prophet NEVER gives his private interpretation. He only shares what the Lord reveals. Scripture defines Scripture, not man. When you add to what God Almighty hasn't said you incur the anger and punishment of the Almighty God.

2 Peter 1:21, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

He is always moved by the Spirit of God Almighty and some fleshly lusts
A true Prophet only prophecies in the name of the Lord. He only seeks to glorify the Lord. He will never seek glory to himself. NEVER!

1 Corinthians 14:3-4, "But he that prophesies Speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself; but he that prophesies edifies the church."

A true minister of God Almighty build people up, not tearing down the temple of God Almighty

A true Prophet will look to edify, comfort, and uplift the Church body by his testimony as well as exhort them.

Isaiah 8:20, "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

A true Prophet keeps God's Law, and abides by the testimony of the Bible Prophets as well. If a Prophet does not agree with the Bible Prophet's or does not keep God's revelations of his holiness and righteousness, he is a false Prophet.

1 John 4:1-3, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God Almighty: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know you the Spirit of God Almighty: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God Almighty: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

A true Prophet believes and preaches the incarnation of Jesus Christ. He will preach Jesus as God who came to Earth and put on humanity in order to redeem us all.

Matthew 7:15-20, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them."

The fruit of the Spirit of God Almighty in
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit of God Almighty. That means manifesting the work of the Spirit of God working in us because it is he who works in us both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Exodus 15:20, "And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances."

Judges 4:4, "And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time."

2 Chronicles 34:22, "And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the collegesmiley and they spoke to her to that effect."

Luke 2:36, "And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;"

Acts 21:8-9, "And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy."

Gender makes no difference. Women can, and have been prophet's as well. Don't condemn women ministry. There is no male or female in Christ, for all that have been baptized into CHRIST have put on CHRIST, the power and wisdom of God Almighty.

Acts 2:17-18, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God Almighty, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:"

Age makes NO difference in being a prophet. Even though you are servant to anyone God Almighty can still use you to work him

Matthew 24:24-25, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before." Performing miracles proves nothing.

You also forget that same God that gave prophecy can change it.
Prophecy is giving a message from God or the Lord Jesus to another person or persons, and that the main reason for prophecy is God’s love for us. God wants a relationship with us, and He wants to show His love for us and desires us to love Him.

We now need to examine an aspect of prophecy that is very important, and not well understood by most Christians: when a prophecy is spoken to people about them personally, it is almost always conditional in nature. The fulfillment of the prophecy often depends on the attitude and actions of the one to whom the prophecy is given. This is different from the generally accepted teaching that when God declares something, it is “set in stone,” and will absolutely come to pass. If you are one who has believed that a true prophet of God is defined by the fact that his prophecies always come to pass,
Certainly there are prophecies from God that are “set in stone” and will come to pass exactly as God spoke them, but not all prophecies are that way. Prophecies spoken to individuals or groups about what will happen to them in the future are usually conditional upon the actions and attitudes of the people addressed. God gave us free will, and He responds to the free will decisions we make. What makes the prophecy conditional is there is an unspoken “if ” in the prophecy. In other words, the prophecy has a condition in it.

Another way to look at the conditional nature of prophecy is to remember that prophecy is an expression of God’s love for people, and that many times in prophecy God is calling us to greater things, rather than just announcing what will happen in the future, as if He would then gloat when it happened. Take the prophecy Jonah gave to the people of Nineveh: “…Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned” (Jon. 3:4b). Anyone reading the book of Jonah sees that Jonah’s prophecy did not come to pass. Nevertheless, Jonah was a true prophet. Furthermore, had the prophecy been fulfilled as spoken without being conditional, then what would have been the point? To tell thousands of people they were going to die in 40 days? No, there is another explanation
.The prophecy of Jonah, and other prophecies to people, often have an unspoken “if” clause. When the “if” is expressed, the prophecy looks like this: “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned if you do not change.” God is expressing His love via a prophecy that calls people to greater things. The prophecy gives people a chance to rise up and walk in a godly fashion before Him. The people of Nineveh did, and therefore God’s prophecy was not fulfilled. Of course, sometimes a prophecy of good is spoken, but the people turn to evil. Those prophecies are also conditional, and the good that was foretold often does not come to pass.
There are two primary reasons why it is important to know that prophecy is so often conditional. The first is to build and maintain faith in God and His prophets. People who do not realize that prophecy is conditional may have their faith shaken if a particular prophecy does not come to pass or if they see a prophecy in the Bible that did not come to pass. For example, a person operating under the premise that true prophecy must come to pass as spoken is forced to say that Jonah was a false prophet. But we know that Jonah was a true prophet of God. If a particular prophecy is not fulfilled, we should examine the prophecy and the situation to see if the reason that it was not fulfilled had to do with a shift in the situation.

The second reason it is important to know that prophecy can be conditional is that people need to know that their behavior can affect whether or not a prophecy comes to pass. A Christian who is walking with the Lord needs to continue in faith, prayer, and an obedient lifestyle. On the other hand, a disobedient person who receives an undesirable prophecy can repent, in which case the prophecy that he had received may either not be fulfilled (just as Jonah’s prophecy to the Ninevites was not), or changed (as we will see in Hezekiah’s case).
Prophecies That Changed
We are now going to examine a number of prophecies in the Bible that were spoken but not fulfilled. These examples clearly reveal the conditional nature of prophecy, and help us see that God is doing much more than just predicting the future when He gives a prophecy. He is calling people to Himself and working to build the fellowship between God and man. This section is long because the information is new and challenging to most people, and therefore many examples are given to establish the truth of the point. If you understand the concept, and do not want to read all the examples, skip down to the next section, “Prophecies That Did Not Change.”

Saul’s kingship
God gave Samuel the revelation that Saul would be king over Israel (1 Sam. 9:17). That revelation became prophecy when Samuel spoke it to Saul (1 Sam. 10:1). The implied part of the prophecy is that both Saul and his descendants would reign over Israel. There would have been no reason for the prophet to speak that, because that was simply the way kingdoms work: after the king dies, a descendant becomes king. Yet Saul disobeyed the Word of God, and Samuel delivered a prophecy that modified the original prophecy, stating that Saul’s kingdom would not endure. The original prophecy was conditional upon Saul’s obedience to God.

Others include
Another clear example of the conditional nature of prophecy is in the book of Jeremiah. Zedekiah was the last king of Judah before the Babylonian captivity. He had the chance to save his kingdom by surrendering to Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, but he did not surrender. When Nebuchadnezzar’s army surrounded Jerusalem, Zedekiah made a proclamation that everyone in the city was to free his slaves (Jer. 34:8-10). The slaves were supposed to be released every seven years, as the Law of Moses declared (Exod. 21:2), but the people of Judah had been disobedient in that area. It blessed God when Zedekiah released the slaves, and He sent Jeremiah to tell the king that even though Jerusalem would be burned and he would be captured, he would die in peace.

Jeremiah 34:4 and 5
(4) “‘Yet hear the promise of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah. This is what the LORD says concerning you: You will not die by the sword;
(5) you will die peacefully. As people made a funeral fire in honor of your fathers, the former kings who preceded you, so they will make a fire in your honor and lament, “Alas, O master!” I myself make this promise, declares the LORD.’”

The word from God was that Zedekiah would “die peacefully” and people would make a funeral fire for him. However, before long the people of Judah “…changed their minds and took back the slaves they had freed and enslaved them again” (Jer. 34:11). They also sinned in many other ways. Because of the wicked sin of Zedekiah and the people of Judah, Jeremiah was sent back to the king with a different message:

Jeremiah 34:17, 19-21
(17) Therefore, this is what the LORD says: ‘You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom for your fellow countrymen. So I now proclaim ‘freedom’ for you, declares the LORD —‘freedom’ to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.
(19) The leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the court officials, the priests and all the people of the land who walked between the pieces of the calf,
(20) I will hand over to their enemies who seek their lives. Their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth.
(21) I will hand Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials over to their enemies who seek their lives, to the army of the king of Babylon, which has withdrawn from you.”

God had said that Zedekiah would die “peacefully” and that people would make a fire in honor of him and lament for him. But after his grievous sin, God spoke a different word—that he would be handed over to his enemies. Had Zedekiah repented in sackcloth and ashes like Ahab and others had done, perhaps the word from God would have changed yet again. However, he continued in his wicked ways and the second word from God was fulfilled:

Jeremiah 52:10 and 11
(10) There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; he also killed all the officials of Judah.
(11) Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon, where he put him in prison till the day of his death.

Zedekiah could have died in peace as the first prophecy said, but he, like many others, abandoned his godly acts and turned to wickedness, so instead of being fulfilled, the first prophecy was set aside by a later prophecy. The last thing Zedekiah saw before the Babylonians blinded him was his sons being put to death, and then, blinded, he was taken in chains to Babylon where he died in prison. Dying in a prison blind and in chains is certainly not dying “peacefully,” as Jeremiah’s original prophecy stated. This record in Jeremiah is more evidence that much prophecy is conditional in nature and based on the attitude and actions of the believer.

Another given scenario was
Disaster on Ahab
In 1 Kings 21, the evil King Ahab, husband to the infamous Jezebel, did nothing while an innocent man and his family were murdered by executive order. Elijah the prophet came to Ahab with a word from God.

1 Kings 21:21 and 22
(21) “I am going to bring disaster on you. I will consume your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel—slave or free.
(22) I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and that of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have provoked me to anger and have caused Israel to sin.”

As evil as he was, Ahab realized he was in serious trouble. Elijah foretold disaster on “you,” i.e., Ahab, and also on his “house.” The “houses” of Jeroboam and Baasha whom Elijah mentioned, both former kings of Israel, had been totally destroyed. Ahab knew he was doomed if something did not change, and he acted decisively:

1 Kings 21:27-29
(27) When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went around meekly.
(28) Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite:
(29) “Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”

When Elijah foretold Ahab’s disaster, Ahab did not shrug his shoulders and say, “Well, the word of God has come. I’m history.” No, he understood that prophecy could be conditional, and thought that if he changed his behavior, the Word of God might change. In his case, it did, and God told Elijah that He would not bring disaster on Ahab as He had said, but would delay it until the reign of Ahab’s son. We can only speculate what would have happened if Ahab’s son had also repented and lived a godly life, but the chances are that the prophecy would have been altered again. As it was, Ahab’s son, Ahaziah, died childless after falling out a window, and his brother Joram took over the throne. Joram also did evil in the eyes of God, and Jehu, a commander in the army, killed him and destroyed the house of Ahab, fulfilling the prophecy that destruction would come in the “days of his son.”

Hezekiah’s sickness
Another example of God changing His revelation when people act decisively is in 2 Kings 20. Hezekiah, king of Judah, was very sick. The prophet Isaiah came to him and said, “…Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover” (2 Kings 20:1). As final as that prophecy from Isaiah sounded, Hezekiah did not give up. He prayed and wept, and God spoke again to Isaiah.

2 Kings 20:5a
“Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you…

Hezekiah was healed, even as the second word from God said. The original prophecy that Hezekiah would die was not fulfilled, and he lived another 15 years.

Haven seen the above analysis, same God that gave prophecy can change so it doesn't make a prophet to be fake.
The last prophecy I will add was when God told Abraham that his seed will live in a strange land and be afflicted for 400 years.
"And he said unto Abraham, know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them and they shall afflict them four hundred years" (Genesis 15:13). But did it come to pass no.Instead the Israelites spent 430 years

"The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years." Exodus 12:40

On the other hand, a disobedient person who receives an undesirable prophecy can repent, in which case the prophecy that he had received may either n

Don't forget that the false Prophet targets the pockets of his followers first. They demand for seed money for every prayer to pass through his altar to heaven. Tell me which Daddy will require a seed first before granting the request of his Children if not the Papas and Mamas of the newbreeds of gods.
The False Prophet has reduced the Almighty God to one who can do all things except to rain money to his prophet. So the false Prophet tells you that by his decree all your needs will be met provided you sow money seed which apparently is not in the needs his decree can Carter for.
The False Prophet wants everybody to see him as powerful and untouchable. Now, this is important because with this he can keep marketing his tricks like Elymas the sorcerer for fortunes.
The False Prophet delights in spreading unverifiable stories of his power, stating why people should come to his own Church and not the Church of Pastor Y. He sends his foot soldiers to cities to compete with other Churches for members.

So False Prophets should go on with lies as glaring as a woman will be president of U.S.A. but suddenly the gods changed their minds as they are fond of doing. There is a cover although, taken out of context but it is a good one. Asuustrike, please repent and stop defending agents of Satan. Thus says the Lord and it does not come to pass and there is no announcement from Heaven that God has changed His mind before the expected date, is a simple test of a false prophet.

TEST THE SPIRITS.
Aug 1, 2017
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1 NIV).

Some people have asked how they can distinguish between false prophets and true prophets or ministers of God. Well, it’s very easy to know a true minister of God. First, a true prophet or minister of God draws people to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and to the Word, not to himself or to some other gods.

Secondly, he walks in love. 1 John 4:8 says, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Walking in the love of Christ is very important. In addition, there has to be a consistency of the Word of God in his mouth. A true man of God doesn’t falter on the Word of God. He sticks to the Word, consistently maintaining and upholding the integrity of the Word. He proves the Word, first in his own life.

Another distinctive factor of a true minister is that the things he says come to pass. Now, that’s a little tricky, because sometimes, you could have a true prophet, pastor or evangelist make a mistake and say the wrong thing. Such a mistake could arise from his over enthusiasm or expectations of those around him or even because he’s not paying attention to the Holy Spirit. This, however, doesn’t make him a false prophet.

That’s why it’s important for you to know the Word for yourself. Part of the ministry of the Spirit in your life is to teach you the Word. Rely on Him and you’ll never be deceived. “I have written these things to you because you need to be aware of those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ” (1 John 2:26-27 NLT).

PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word is a light to my path and a lamp to my feet. My steps in life are directed and ordered by you, through the Word and your Spirit. I’m positioned in the right place and at the right time for your purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Matthew 7:15-16 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Good question. We don't share the same lords. While my Lord is against False Prophets and their lying wonders, yours says all is fair and good.
The Bible judged and condemned them, not me.
I observed you use holy ghost the same way False Prophets brandish it everywhere when in actual sense they are not for Him. These days a native doctor shouts holy ghost fire during incantations.
False Prophets are clearly described in the Bible if you have one and read it at all, you will not need extra voices to know who a false prophet is. Moreover, the voices talking to you so far might be the specie of holy ghost His Holiness Rev King used during his ministry days. Repent and be set free from the thorough brainwashing you have suffered these past years in the hands of false Prophets and Bishops.

Please, I will not reply you again on this subject because I have summarized my position on it.

The number one place to look for prophesies are in the book of revelation.....

Revelation account

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God Almighty gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

And they are already happening... You don't expect the Almighty God to change like you mortal.... Forever Oh lord God Almighty, your word is settled in heaven

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

I the LORD God Almighty do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.

The book of revelation talked about what would happen during perilous times. It was specific and Yahweh isn't changing his mind about that.
You were just quoting verses to buttress fake prophet as if they're not fake members too. Some even said that our prophets in Nigeria are fake going by your analogy from the Bible because of USA election results but he forgot that same prophets he accused fake have being giving out prophecies and are coming to pass. That's the more reason I gave a detailed analogy to prove to you that there are times God can change his mind. Has rapture occurred now? Isn't a prophecy too? Did God change his mind about the fulfilment? Was God specific on when it will occur?

God is not a man to lie but same God says I will have mercy on whom I will and show compassion on whom I will. If God can change his mind about Hezekiah after prophesying about his death then Yahweh is unquestionable God.No one questions what he does because he does as he pleases

God was communicating with Abraham because he has already agree to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. He only reveal it to Abraham because he was righteous and wanted to spare his nephew's life because of him. That's a prophecy because in Amos 3:7 it says "“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets". Same God did the same to other prophets when the Israelites were derailing. You forgot that from verse 20-32 of Genesis chapter 18 Yahweh was seeking for a righteous man to spare aside Lot but he didn't see. Had it being there was a righteous person there,he wouldn't have destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Did same God hide anything from Isaiah when he ask him to tell Hezekiah to put his house in other? Definely no instead Hezekiah cried to God for help and Yahweh changed his mind.
What's the essence of prophecy to humanity? It's to bring men closer to God, like the case of Hezekiah. To reveal things that would happen ahead like the case of Joseph being made a second in command after Pharaoh to assist the Israelites and Egyptian in farming.
Who gives the prophecy? Yahweh, who decides when it comes to fulfillment? Yahweh. Who decides whether it comes to pass or not? Yahweh. So fake prophets can not be judged by mere prophecy. Fake prophets doesn't lead men to Christ instead they take them far off. They teach what people love to hear and not the true word of God

Look at this hilarious buffoon. You cannot even hide your pain and frustration as your counterparts are doing.

Rhapsody did not start with his wife. It started with the Lord who spoke to Pastor Chris, telling him to put his teachings in a book and that He will cause the book to be read around the world.

And it was Pastor Anita who insited and even threatened

It is paining you because what you and your ilk hoped to see in his life and ministry as a result of your hate campaign, you are seeing the opposite.
