luckydion: there was a similar scenario... In Niger State but NO injury recorded; at the checking point, we were all queued waiti for the Policeman as ordered by them at the checking point..... a driver did same with hurry, he left his vehicle on drive while going to open d boot for the security agent to check... although he was initially freed b4 another commanded him to open his boot... with this annoyance, he rushed out of the vehicle having engaged his gear to move........ Inshort.... it was a drama... His car being the front one..there was no hindrance... it zoomed off..started accelerating on a sloppy road... Men! see security agents and some of us.. pursuing d car....those other security at the front cleared... One of us was able to jump in and halt d brake... .... Lets be mindful and focus... when driving.....or dealing with cars mostly auto designed Gear system |

Lesson:learnt take yur driving lesson serious,think aheard,what can go wrong. 1.Donot exit an idle car with gear engaged put it in park or off engine. 2.Dnt leave a running engine unattended. 3.off ignition when fuelling. 4.Alway park with handbrake. I hav seen some1 crush2death agst a wall,b/c he went to tap a battery terminal with car left on gear 1. |
