The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) conducted a training on peace building for officials of the Cross River State government today, August 16, 2017.

The objective of the training was to build the capacities of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Cross River towards peace building and management of communal violence in the state.

At least 5 MDAs were represented at the training which was facilitated by PIND's Peace Building team.

PIND believe that the economic development map charted for the Niger Delta can only be achieved through sustainable peace.
