i have a 486. and i am new to linux but very much interested. i have other systems but i want to install on the 486 first. who can tell me the best flavour to install and where i can download it from.

this would result inincreased cost of production and who would suffer it most: the consumer

Policemen, harassing, intimidating, and collecting money from you and yahoo boyz.?

the biggest problem we have is that money is everything in Nigeria. NIGERIANS WORSHIP MONEY. simple. the only security we have is money. NO SOCIAL SECURITY. Police will insult you on the street if you dont have money. someone with more money (and connections) can lock you up, and you cant do much about it.

They never question source of wealth in the country.

if we start questioning source of wealth in this country, 419 would reduce.

which one should we be more worried about: crime that affects us directly or crime that affects other (european) countries. should we concentrate more on YAHOO boyz stealing European money from (sometimes) greedy people or politicians stealing money meant for the development of our country.

which crime is worse

it is just that in Nigeria, internet crime is very crude. in more technologically developed countries, their are sophisticated Internet crime and the country criminal law is also fighting it. Do Nigerians Hack (crack) into bank accounts or company database to steal information?

What of the latest ones that they do with GSM. they are disturbing my phone line more than my email box.


personally, i think the biggest 419 we have in this country is Political 419. i think we should concentrate on that first.

I have a KU Band in a remote location in Imo State. i have been approached by some individuals and schools that they need internet access. i would like to know what exactly that i need to do in order to give them access without compromising my own network. i use iDerict 3000 Satellite Router
