you are right bro,it was maths that gave birth to computer science in the first place,while chem engr.is just the application of maths.comp science is the use of maths to solve problems relative to other courses.All computer scientist need all aspect of maths to solve problems,like the mathematical topic matrix computer scientist need it solve problems in the form of arrays.for me comp sc is more of maths.
