Frankly I do not think Shagaya should be on the list cos her fortune was made largely through government patronage undecided

Most fortunes are made through government patronage,
that is the "secret" many rich men and women closely
guard.

true,Linda never had any government support but the likes of Shagaya,Alakija, etc . hmmmm one can't tell what they have to give back or the oath they have to reach or the cult they have to join to benefit that much from government. Nigerian government doesn't just enrich you like they're father christmas just like that

if dangote can be acknowledged why not her, the only difference between the two is that one is male and the other is a female.

I soberdrunk i nor fear anybody neither do i fear being politically' wrong, i say the truth as it is! If Nigeria was a 'sane' country Mrs Alakija has no business on this list, her being on that list is an insult to all 'hardworking' Nigerians. How can you go from being a 'tailor' to a billionaire overnight because you beacame friends with president's wife, that is the highest level of Nepotism, favoritism, and all the other 'sm' that has to do with corruption.......... angry

The list is half filled with mediocre, so financial solvency translate to success? Anyway I can only say may be Mrs Awosika is the only person is worthy of being on that others are as a result of military or pitcial connection.

Uju Ifejirika is ahead of Alakija, Uju Ifejirika Six most powerful woman in oil and gas in the world http://www.nasdaq.com/article/top-6-most-powerful-women-in-oil-and-gas-cm502914, I guess the blogger know little about Nkechi Obi Tecno oil, Stella Okoli Emzor, Udo Maryanne Okonjo CEO Fine & Country West Africa, listing Mo Abudu, Linda Ikeji and HAJIYA BOLA SHAGAYA shows the blogger is very ignorant.

When we say make the likes of this fool am quoting to go to school, they won't listen. Uju Ifejirika is richer than. Alakija? Seriously are you okay at all because I doubt if you are.

you refuse to consider the work ethics that brought her close to the President's wife in the first place. There is always a bit of luck to the success of all entrepreneurs but they prepared for it. Other people had been closed to Several Presidents but never as successful as Alakija.

'Successful' should have been defined before making the list. Are all rich people successful? Maybe they are ... Evans was successful, until he got caught. Babangida and Danjuma are successful if Alakija is.

Abeg, criminals too many for Nigeria, make us try to promote good role models for the future generations. Please.
