This terrible accident happened on my way back to the office around 12:30pm today at Water Bus-stop, Ipaja Road, Lagos.

The Truck heading towards Iyana-Ipaja probably lost control of its brakes and tried using the road divider which was about 4 to 6 inches high to decelerate. It eventually climbed over the divider, crossed to the other side of the road hitting a commercial bike with a single passenger before it dived into a canal on the otherside.

The bike passenger died on the spot, while the bike rider survived after jumping off. The truck drivers could not be located but were said to have survived also.

May God Almighty save us.

But do we really need to see a graphic image before believing the story? I don't think so.

In countries with sense there ar well carved roads for this idiot truck drivers in d woods to get around d country

saw the scene on my way to Iyana Ipaja from Gate yesterday. so sad. it was at that point the ambulance arrive. I guess it must have been late cuz the body lying There was a lifeless body already. so sad. Rest in Peace

It's so sad. The bikers are always quick to jump avoiding danger. It's the passengers that usually fall victim. RIP to the dead.
