Does This Newswatch Magazine Cover Contradict What PMB Said About Ojukwu? by newsynews: 10:06am On Aug 22, 2017 |
In a tweet yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari said that he met with Ojukwu the leader of the defunct Biafra in 2003 after which both men made a conclusion that Nigeria must remain united as one. This tweet came in light of the renewed agitation for Biafra which is led by Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB group. However, the cover of a popular political magazine, Newswatch shows Ojukwu quoted as saying ”I Support Biafra”. That was in 2004, a year after President Buhari said he met with Ojukwu. https://www.wotzup.ng/newswatch-magazine-ojukwu-pmb/ 1 Like

General Buhari did not write that speech. He probably did not even know what was written till he began his coup speech-styled pronouncements By the way, if these people truly believe in Nigeria as the "united nation" that majority love and would die for, there will be no need for the "my people, your people" referrals. Aside arrogating decision making powers as at a time as recent as 2003 to himself and Ojukwu on behalf of Nigerians, proclaiming himself the saviour who was to come (reason why Ojukwu had to visit and intercede for his people) and thereby insulting over 180million so-called Nigerians as having no right nor brains to decide for themselves via a referendum, even when he'd not been elected, that speech reeked of strong belief in and subtle support of the obvious divisions in the contraption they call a united country. Why would a country's president insinuate stuff as stupid as " Ojukwu's people should calm down because Ojukwu has represented HIS PEOPLE as I represented Nigerians. Is this speech not divisive enough? Why are we trying so hard to keep this country One? 4 Likes |

Many people don't know how politicians play pink ponk with their future when they are alone but when they want sympathy from their followers , they grant evil interviews to deceive the gullible and mumu ones. After this event, did ojukwu not contest under apga? Did he register as a Nigerian? Did he die as a Nigerian? It is not applicable to ojukwu alone, all politicians are very dubious, tricky and always say what the gullible wants to hear in other to paint them saint, but in reality and secrecy, it is them that laugh lasts in their closets. Many people don't know that ameachi and wike has lots of investment together. Up until now, it is paper fight, they will never open up in their secrecy and expose how ameachi squandered rivers money despite white papers report. They know how to play eye services but wine together in closet. |
