Sweden's former coach, Lars Lagerback, is one of four men who will meet with Nigeria officials this week in London to discuss the possibility of taking over the Nigeria's coaching job.

Others are: Ratomir Djukovic, Bruno Metsu, and Peter Taylor. NFF executive committee members, Taiwo Ogunjobi and Dominic Iorfa, along with Director General of the National Sports Commission, Patrick Ekeji, are the trio who will meet with the coaches in what has been described as a pre-interview process.

Since announcing a short-list of six for the position left vacant after Shuaibu Amodu was demoted, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has
witnessed many declarations of interest and quick withdrawal of same by many coaches.

Louis van Gaal, Giovanni Trappatoni and Guus Hiddink have apparently ruled themselves out.

In the same vein, England's former manager, Sven Goran Eriksson, leads the likes of ex Bayer Leverkusen coaches Dragoslav Stepanovic and Klaus Topmmoeller as well as Liverpool legend, John Barnes, among those who have
declared their interest.

Lagerback, who resigned after failing to qualify Sweden for the World Cup,also signified his interest and will be meeting with the Nigeria's officials this week.

A shortlist of three is expected to be made ahead of a final selection interview in Abuja on February 26, as the new coach will be named
on February 28.

It is estacodes they are fighting for, that is why they do not want Amodu there. The right thing is for the coaches who are interested come to Abuja. They will continue to waste Tax payer money.
