Question is why would anyone set up a porn site? To make money ofcourse! .There are several of such sites worth Millions of Dollars today.Many would argue that NL has been beneficial to them one way or the other. There are also others that NL will cause issues for.

Like whatsapp is being used now by terrorists, drug dealers and others promoting hate, there are millions of others that depend on the app for legitimate business, healthcare and the provision of social services.

Do not rate a site based on only the negatives.

Is it to Foster peace, improve youth orientation, encourage budding investors and enterpreneurs? Foster patriotism ?
If any of the above was your dream for setting this forum up then it has failed woefully

But if nairaland was created to encourage tribalism , division and religious hate , misguide youths , create a reality distortion psyche and totally help the already confused youth. Then nairaland is doing well .

Any company , service or organization without a clear set of goals is doomed to brand sepsis.

What you mentioned is refered to as the gold in the the dirty syndrome

Yes negatives sell now , but I want us to take a look at this in context of our nation ..

For example tuface is remembered for alot but his song "E be like say " is one of his songs that addressed issues facing the nation

Now one thing I learned in business school was never chase money, chase passion.

Why I think LIB is so successful is she created a niche where by though all are allowed to express opinions she still tried to ensure a unique experience where by brands don't feel turned off by offensive content .
