Nigerians are really funny. How come we yell at a government each time its not living up to its responsibility but turn around to still insult it for trying to make us live up to our our responsibility?
This is simple. some people are collecting salaries where they should not. imagine somebody going to work only twice a week or reporting to work at 10 or 11am and closing at 1 or 2pm only to receive a full month salary. isn't this also corruption? Does such a person have the moral right to question a government of corruption? Lets face reality and stop the hypocrisy. the truth is that the system cannot be perfect from the onset but where genuine flaws are noticed in the attendance management system, they should be reported to the appropriate authorities for the enhancement of the system.
NB: We cannot hold anybody or government responsible if we are not ready to take responsibility.

Vutseck:

that is how it's done in all developed countries

Nigeria is always is always behind time
.
that's very true. It is the backward nature of Nigeria to switch to modernity most especially in governance that is making think about how well they will use it and for how long.

It's very unfortunate for the kind of work some of us find ourselves into. we already understand that kogi state is a civil savants state but that shouldn't be an avenue for the government to maltreat his workforce in such a way. At a moment everyone expectations was high to celebrate the salah festival and to plan for children resumption to school that was the very moment the governor saw it fit to reduced the workers salary. A Governor that used staff verification exercise to syphons money from the state treasury. A governor that can't account for the Paris club refund, bailout fund, monthly allocation and other money accrued to the state is talking of electronic register. You retrenched civil savants by a mischievous act, instead of managing little numbers of workforce you deemed it fit to employed over 50 to 70 medical doctors and nurse without money to pay them as salary. kogi state civil savants salary can't compete with N-power program monthly stipend. Yahaha Bello you have spent 2years you just have 2 years to complete your assignments.

but you all need international best practices?because here in Europe we all do it because it's imperative to do so to avoid fraudulent things which most of u are guilty of..Unfortunately discipline and deligence it's a shock to you all..Smh

as in ehn, I'm shocked to see all the dissenting opinions, how can this nation ever develop if corruption is not nip in the bud, so many civil servants receiving salary alert monthly without earning it, I personally know at least two of them who stay in one state but is a civil servant in another state, they only go there like after three months but keep receiving alerts, we can't continue like this and be blaming Buhari for everything now, people should start using their brain a little, ha ba!!!?

Great idea.
Should be implemented nationwide.
With the bad roads and poor transport infrastructure am sure you will achieve a great result

Bros it seems it's d headline u read. Try read d details. Its intent is to check truancy at work. Not daily pay like labourers as u portrayed by ur comment.
