Can you imagine the the minister is still using the girls to score political patronage with her mentor Atiku by sending the girls there despite all available facts that Adamawa is still harboring Boko Haram elements and the it's relation to the past trauma the girls have been through ,If they can't be sent to a good school in the south then the govt should forget it

We know the drill already. Blackmail Aisha and Atiku and get the people to hate them. This time around, you people have failed. This government is bad news! A sitting minister aligning with a political opponent of her boss in broad day light and being proud to do so speaks volume. She knows so many things that we don't and she's ready to tell us. We are waiting patiently.
Sai Atiku 2019!
Btw, when is the August visitor going back to his base in the other Abuja somewhere in Europe? They better hurry him up o 'cos we don't need any more disasters.

Like my people will say "aje ke Lana omo Ku Loni ...."

Education minister promised to support Atiku presidential ambition in 2019 instead of Buhari.

Atiku supports restructuring, accused APC of sidelining him after helping them power to attain power and that the party has failed Nigerians.

And now a chibok school girl attempted suicide cos she's been enrolled in Atiku school cos of BH threats in adamawa? Haba we aren't fools na cheesy

My own conspiracy theory is that the girls are fed up of being kept incommunicado from the outside world to avoid telling Nigerians the truth about their abduction and one of them decides to take her own life tongue
If you don't like it come and beat me in my house grin

Misleading headline. Why even mention that the school is owned by Atiku.
Their refusal has nothing to do with him, so why create a false label.

Nonsense bloggers

The lack of thinking capacity of the majority of Nigerians never ceases to get me. Do you people, including your dumb minister, know what is called trauma? This isn't about Atiku. It's about the fact that Adamawa reminds the girls of Boko Haram. But, then, can you people understand that since you don't know what trauma is?

Exactly. Alhassan may be concerned about taking business to her paddy paddy but for the girls this is all about trauma. They don't care who owns what.

If they want to withdraw the girls they should do do without all this drama. Who do the girls speak with regularly that a select few always rep. How many of them speaks English language.

All the comments under this topic shows that all of those who commented either didn't read beyond the topic or they just lack comprehension.

The bone of contention here is that the girl does not want to stay in the Northeast. Atiku's name was just in the catchy title because he owns the school, it has nothing to do with Atiku as a political figure. The girls fear that if they remain in the Northeast (Yola in this case) they might be kidnapped. That is very logical and it is without any political undertone. They were kidnapped in the Northeast before, why should they still remain there?

None of the girls mentioned America as a choice country, Nigeria is big enough to rehabilitate them.

Those girls have a right to a change of location to any sane place in this country. It is highly irrational and unthoughtful to keep those girls in the Northeast.
I hope those in charge of their rehabilitation have their interest at heart.

The headline is unnecessarily sensational. I think she's suffering from trauma from still being close to the place where she had a negative experience not necessarily because it's Atiku's school. Her concerns and feelings have to be taken seriously. Some other girls have graduated from AUN on Atiku's scholarship and are doing well for themselves.
