Am proud of mine it kinda blend with my face.its part of our identity (the Edo's.)

But i don't think parents give their children tribal marks anymore because we  have better health care system now and there's public awareness about some illness,unlike those days when a child would be given such marks as a result of illness or prevention of illness and convulsion.

All my elderly brothers have tribal marks and i do too, but our marks are not that visible, the binis don't solve mathematics on their kid's cheeks. most of the edo people that have tribal marks are from the royal lineage.
