BusinessRe: Help! I Gave A Project To A Company In Lagos & They Are Telling Me This by 404Dev: 11:05pm On Nov 30, 2021
If they didn't deliver as promised file a police complaint against them as this is fraud.

If they're offended by the way you spoke and decided not to continue with the project then they have to deliver the project at its current state - this would be prove that they even did any work, it the work is at least 50% done then you can find another team to complete it. But make sure and insist you get the source code and files and not just an app file - that's very important as without the source files they job cannot be continued by another dev team.

Now if they fail to deliver any app or source codes then it means they never even started they work and you should insist on a full refund. Get the police involved and if possible efcc but be prepared to part with some part of the money if law enforcement helps you recover the money.

When all these started, I advised all of you that it was premature for anyone to decide whether Mr. bah was innocent or not without reviewing all the pieces of evidence used in deciding this case.

Mr. chatinent gave the impression that he had access and had reviewed the court transcripts (which I am beginning to doubt) and same to the conclusion that Mr. bah was innocent which was why he opened this thread - to canvass and generate enough social noise to compel the federal government to look into the case.

These were his own words at the beginning of the thread -

"So we reached out and met with the defendant ( @Powerhouse5050) who is currently in prison for a crime, as the evidence says, he didn't commit."

"We invite well-meaning Nigerians to please support this case. The evidence speaks volumes. Without your help, he would be spending the rest of his life in prison for a case of mistaken identity. Thank you."

"This case is since 2017! Do you know what it feels to be behind bars since then...and most painful when you are innocent?"

"If Nigerians push on the fact that the case is visited, the FG will be forced to have a say."

Even after he was busted early on by 1stGenAmerican for lying about the legal fees he paid, it was quite shocking to still have lots of guys pitch their tent with him.

One even went as far as adding "#justiceforbah" to her profile without even seeing a single of piece of the evidence used in nailing him.

You guys were ready to start a social campaign for a convicted stranger even without asking about his family and close friends.

I mean if anyone should be at the forefront of such a campaign, it should have been them.

But I guess the Tokyo evidence that came up lately answers why none of them embarked on any kind of campaign to prove his claimed innocence.

The fact is it was extremely clear very early on that Mr. bah was lying about a lot (even stuff he didn't have to lie about), withheld or should I say "released" only screenshots he felt were sufficient to fool people enough to embark on this ridiculous campaign and avoided directly answering any questions that he didn't like.

My only annoyance with chatinent is that he gave us all the impression that he had gone through the court transcripts used in deciding the case and found evidence to believe Mr. bah was innocent and was mistaken for someone else.

Mr. bah is a hardened criminal and the judge saw that during the trials and ensured she used her power to ensure he would never be a free man.

Only a crazy psychopath would commit such a crime, get multiple life sentences and instead of making peace with his God decided to make a fool out of an entire nation to embark on a social crusade for him.

So I really don't know how networth got into the conversation to warrant a back forth

networth doesn't mean the same thing as earnings per year.

The highest paid YouTuber earned 29.5m from youtube last year that is a fact.

Someone's networth can even include inheritance and family properties.

Networth is simply someone's entire assets so that even factors revenue outside youtube.

Just how Messi is the highest paid footballer, but not that one with the highest networth there's a crown prince on Leicester books

There is something called jurisdiction and a foreign lawyer has zero jurisdiction in a Nigerian Court unless he was called to the Nigerian bar.

That is the same way an ordinary citizen cannot be allowed to defend in you Court.

Baba, many people don't really understand that the most difficult thing in this life is being in a pit of pain but hearing people passing above but no one to help...even while you are crying out.

Especially when you believe you are not the one supposed to be in that hole.

Some think you deserve it with their facts. No problem.

Some think you don't after checking the facts. No problem.

Some think it's just painful. No problem.

But you see those ones that are just following any path of the first sets of people...wearing a all shiny white cowardice green gown and hypocrite brown cap... to make them feel validated? Cockroaches in their cupboards are usually dragons...but they all play heaven candidates in public. They deserve to be ignored forever not even insulted!

Because they have nothing to offer.

A lil discussion with them will inform you of an empty cranium. Watch them start talking about how many lives they've got and all those gibberish.

I go come go check Elon Musk’s bloodline life lines again to be sure...it's still one...and worse is their names aren't on it.

Lol

Now here is a thing....

The craze is that a neutral person has stopped above talking to the person down the pit and asking questions...and checking facts on how you got there. The neutral person is saying narrate your own story. The neutral person is saying let me see the main facts. The neutral person is comparing and contrasting...maybe to prove beyond all reasonable doubts that for a truth, yes, sb supposed to be in the pit...but it actually isn't you...based on those facts.

...in another ndi follow follow news, some people who don't even have any piece of information on how the man in the pit got there is trying to push the neutral person down or even exterminate the person...for daring to have a contact with the man in the pit.

Is common sense not really not common?
Here is the fact

My opinion on this case doesn't matter, yours do not and neither does anyone's on this thread matter.

Whether you or I believe he is innocent or not doesn't count as anything.

What matters is what the judge and jury that would hear the appeal believe after reviewing all the evidence and counter evidence.

That's all that truly matters.

No personal conviction on my part, I have simply been following and commenting because it IS an interesting thread.

And for the subtle bullying when there are opposing opinions, potential bias is one of the things screened for during jury selection.
Most people want to see justice carried out when a crime is committed. When children are involved, even more so. No one wants a predator walking around free.

But, part of justice is making sure that the right person is incarcerated. And even when we are sure, there is nothing wrong with double checking. The field of science is ever evolving

Can DNA evidence ever be wrong? Yes.
Is it foolproof? Hell to the No!!!

I have said this countless, no one can determine if an error or mistake was made without properly going through and reviewing the transcripts.

Countless very important questions have been thrown your way but this your comment now confirms that you decide which ones to answer and which ones to ignore.

Someone asked earlier about the dna from the facial swap but till now you haven't said anything about it.

Including the reported cctv footage which showed Mr. Bah chasing the victim.

Mr. Bah driving the car the suspect was spotted leaving the crime scene with.

I just hope in court, when the persecutors ask similar questions, you would be allowed to only answer the ones you deem important.
CrimeRe: Follow Up: Nigerian Locked Up for the Case of Rape —The Walk, The End. by 404Dev: 8:40am On Oct 19, 2021
@HolarQD you said it all.

I have always maintained an open mind towards this which is why I have always asked questions and demanded for more facts.

I can't just take a stand by hearing only from Mr. Bah even the courts don't work that way.

I believe everything Mr. Bah said and presented here has already been discussed in court...

And the persecutors also presented their own arguments and pieces of evidence which no one here has seen or heard.

The courts have seen pieces of evidence we haven't, they have taken the statements of persons we haven't heard from...

So it is extremely premature for those jumping on the court made mistake bandwagon.

Yes mistakes happen but also note...

Countless persons wrongly accussed and convicted for years have been exonerated by dna evidence once advancements in dna testings were made.

The true allele that was used to convict him has also been used by others to prove thier innocence exonerating them from crimes they have spent long years in jail for (I have earlier shared the link to this).

So like I have said before, I cannot partake on any campaign to prove the innocence of anyone until I have reviewed all the facts of the case (which in this case I haven't and doubt anyone here has either).

Why?

Because even when this goes to appeal, Mr. Bah won't just present his pieces of evidence and call it a day.

No...

They persecutors would also do the same.

And none of us have seen the evidence that was used to nail him in the first trail but Mr. Bah has and reasons best known to him, he has decided not to reveal them.

Mr. Bah is desperately looking for any technicality or loophole he can use and that's just it.

And did you read the part where they said the DNA results were inconclusive?

Look... I don't know this guy from Adam, but one thing I hate is being unjustly punished for something one knows nothing about.

I'm one that's keenly interested in the criminal justice system, and would never support any sort of criminality, but support just punishments meted out to deserving criminals.

And I believe rape is one of the most heinous offences one can indulge in, whether committed on a minor or mature person.

Now, I think the guy has kept quiet and refrained from giving out more facts that could prove his innocence cos of legal advice, hoping to tender them all in the appellate court.
(Not sure, I might be wrong though)

And to further crown it, what actually makes it look like a set up is
the unnecessarily long sentence meted out to him by the judge... I mean... that's just too much, considering the fact that even serial killers don't get that much. Kilode??

Two dna analysis were carried out, a vaginal swap and a facial swap.

The courts were presented with the original results and you haven't seen them.

Oil dey your head my Brother.
You are a deep thinker, and this reminds me of one of JHC's novels that says "The Guilty Are Afraid"...

Why on earth would someone commit a crime, and still stay in the same apartment he was living in before?

Why e no japa? Especially since he had the means to?
America na big country na...he could have escaped to any of the other States or taken a direct flight back to Naija to cool off and gone back after the heat had died down.

Everybody knows this, except the naysayers, who, for reasons best known to them, have refused to see reason, but continue to doggedly condemn the guy, supporting the injustice meted out to him for something he knows absolutely nothing about.

I won't be surprised if some of them are part of the people that actually planned this setup against him in the first place, especially that vindictive and antagonistic woman that has been going up and down the thread vilifying him as if she's had some sort of beef for him before.

But I know say GOD pass them sha.
Just as HE would never allow the guilty to go unpunished, so also HE would will never allow the innocent be punished unjustly.

Let's all wait and see how this pans out in the end.
You cannot japa out of a country within mere hours of an incident.

The incident was reported immediately, and a Lookout was given for the car the suspect was spotted on the surveillance cameras driving away.

Within hours (according to Mr bahs own statement on this thread just 2 hours), he was spotted driving a car that matched the description officer's were on the look out for which was the only reason he was stopped.

My guess was he was called to the station for questioning (logic dictates he would be asked about the car first) and then investigations followed.

It is always nice to stop the spread of false narratives.
