I think you should get a better mallam to explain some verses of the Qur'an to you.....

Here is what you are being told, painting of the house is no problem, but painting BECAUSE someone came back from hajj that has been turned to a custom is the bid'ah here....I don't think that's too complex for any sane mind to understand.....


Its only in Africa(and maybe Pakistan), you'll see someone that came back from hajj being called "Alhaji" or "Alhajah", this is deep ignorance....why dont you give someone similar titles after he prays or gives zakah or fast? Why?
