Lol.
Northern Army with their myopic mindset . IPOB Is a movement, a movement of certain percentage of Igbos who wish to have their their own country through referendum.

All these that happened in ABA was to taste the ground, the military needed to find out the level of destruction that might take place if they carry out their intended mission of eliminating Nnamdi Kanu. Smart people know their unintelligent moves. Definitely, igbos should expect more challenges as they know that Igbos too are ready for them as well. The quick movement of youths from different igbo speaking states with buses and quick destruction of federal properties was actually a game on. They got the message alright;IPOB meant biafra or death for REAL!They will restrategize for sure. The coming weeks will reveal other strategies.

Let's face it! Na gun be Army power.Power comes from the barrel of a gun. They are not well trained to defend themselves in physical combat. No wonder naija delta militants dey chop them like fish inside creeks water. If only this government will be truthful and post the number of Army and naval personal missing in the naija delta especially bayelsa....

I watched the video of the IPOB swimming in mould water. That's what they should expect and more if ever they want to be liberated. Nothing comes easy, sometimes ejaculation/orgasm still comes with pain. For those who lost their lives, my heart goes to their families. It's the choice they made.... We shall all die someday.

The Igbos might have their problems, but whatever be the course they are fighting Now will birth a message to other generations to come. There's is no room for slavery in our land, little wonder we had a decentralized government in pre-colonial times. We may not get biafra quite soon.... But the status quo where a particular tribe feels they are born to rule MUST change. Nigeria MUST change else the country can never be at peace!

Nnamdi kanu, I never liked the guy but he has got guts. Atleast somebody is revolutionizing the country, doesn't matter what way; The only language Nigeria government understands is violence. Dialogue has never worked, if it had, We won't be here fighting ourselves with hate speeches and ethnic/genocidal threats.

Nigeria is a forced union. It's either we live in peace or war in pieces. Truth is, Nigeria was never at peace. We just had a country where her citizens go about their activities as long as they can work and get paid. The recession just brought out the worst in all of us coupled with the bad leadership of president Buhari. Is he the first northerner that has ruled Nigeria? Fulani herdsmen are terrorists yet they have miyetti Allah as their political platform. Whatever happens to them is ultimately defended by the association. Who are we deceiving in this country?

The civil unrest that is brewing is inevitable. It's long overdue. The country need to be thoroughly overhauled through restructuring FIRST, then secession if need be. No matter how we try to manage Nigeria, it cannot work, the average Nigeria youth is tired. A tired, hungry and subjugated man is one who has got nothing to lose if he decides to fight for a better standard of living. Even a rabid dog down,do not want to be hunted.

To those irritants who feels this "war" is an igbo /hausa one, I laugh you with my neck bent upwards. When it starts, it will bring along various riots from aggrieved groups; Those butchered by herdsmen,Muslim Vs Christian, Mambilla vs Fulani, aggrieved Shiites vs Sunni muslims,States with border /land issues especially those states that suffered political divide and rule tactics, Boko Haram will intensify, Naija delta militants, etc.All will hijack the whole unrest ... at the end of it, How many will remain?

What is coming in few weeks to come will be terrible.
My brother u really have foresight. Many who have chosen to sit by the fence are gradually jumping into the field. Declaring them a terrorist group is simply asking for an arms struggle which is very unwise.

Quite Unfortunately, we all tend to forget that there is always a relationship between ''cause'' and ''effect''.

If I may ask you now,What is causing the bad blood between Igbos and Hausas of this generation? Is it that they just hate one another? Or one tribe naturally hates while the other loves?

What is it that is causing this latent dis-harmony between Igbos and Yoruba, evn here on Nairaland. Remember that the war was not faught between these two tribes. But something caused the acrimony . And We (our generation) are getting the effect. Remember the cause and effect I mentioned earlier
What is causing these agitation in the southeast? Is there a cause for it? Or they just like making trouble?

Imagine when you were born in kaduna as an Igbo Boy ,Chinedu. U had a Northern friend from let's say Yobe, Musa. Both of you grew inseparable friendly. Went to same Nursery school, same primary school and You sat for National Common Entrance Exam conducted by NECO for admission into unity schools. You guys wrote the exam same day chose FGC Kaduna together so that friendship will continue. When results are out, Chinedu scores 120, musa scores 30, but when admission list is out, Chinedu does not scale the admission requirement for ''his state' while Musa who scored 30 gets admitted. Pls if you are their parents, how will you explain what happened to both of them without the kids seeing you as ''stupid'' and ''Clueless''? Just try explaining to me here. You see, that's how we unavoidably create these divides, these clear Chasms, the hate, the frost, and ghost boundaries which keep haunting US as a Peopl.

What we all should not forget is that, today military tanks are rolling on the streets of southeast. These officers and men of the NA discharging their wanton abuse of peace are having it their way today all over SE. However, we should not forget that kids out of intuition and their smattering memory will start asking questions today like :Daddy why can we go out and play football on the streets ? Daddy why have you not been going to your shop nowadays? Daddy why did you close early today? Daddy why are there soldiers at our junction? Mummy I'm scared, why are they shooting guns. Daddy is there war? Who and who are fighting?

The list of questions these children of today can ask is endless and remember answers abound but the truth never dies. Parents will tell these kids the truth the way it is. Though it may not make much meaning to them now. But throughout their lifetime. These truth, yes, these truth, somewhere in their innermost mind keep reverberating. Even though our school children are not taught History lately, I still bet you that the best history is the one you heard, saw and lived. You NEVER forget.
The efffect of what is happening now will DEFINITELY appear tomorrow. These officers and men of Today's Army may not be there. You and I may not be there. Presido may be long gone. But our Children or Children's children will be there. So....
Remember, cause always goes before effect.

Someone should tell the clueless Nigerian Military that their damage control is useless.

It is known world over that IPOB have been a non-violent group since inception

Its widely known that IPOB has yet to kill any human since inception despite the latest provocation

Its stupidity for the Nigerian army to reference activities post invasion of a hitherto peaceful region as acts of violence

Can the Nigerian clearly outline their reason for rolling tanks into peaceful neighborhoods that have not recorded violence in decades?

We know who the violent ones are who have massacred humans from the middle belt down to the delta in the name of Fulani herdsmen. this government is yet to name these group of killers as terrorist but quick to name a group that has never hurt anyone as a terrorist group. We know who the subtle sponsors of bokoharam are as well.

All globally renowned security outfits consider Fulani herdsmen as the 4th most dangerous terrorist group in the world of which the Nigerian president is a grand patron. Its no news that the FG have refused to acknowledge their highly placed terrorist status but quick to name a globally renowned nonviolent movement as a terrorist group.

We might not retaliate but we are no fools and we wont forget and we will make sure our children do not forget as well.

Kanu foolishly shot himself in the foot when he declared the formation of his BSS; according 1949 Geneva Conventions, anyone or group who maintains a uniform wearing militant group can be classified as ENEMY COMBATANT - accordingly the Nigerian army can therefore engage him/IPOB as such.

The south east has been heavily marginalized, and now this? The only solution to this whole crappy NK agitation is development of that region, the FG should first repair the very terrible federal govt roads there, and do more projects there, and watch as the agitation goes down, and peace reigns. The government is absolutely right on this one. For those that don't know the definition of terrorism, you don't have to carry guns before you are called terrorist. Kanu & Igbos have done more than these.

He threatened genocide against yorubas and hausas, he solicited for arms and also boosted that he will march to Abuja to cut Buharis head. All this are in his numerous videos.

He threatened unrest in elections to be heard in Anambra. So enough evidences we will all present at UN, ICC etc, let nobody threatened us.

Yorubas, after selling Nigeria in 2015 to the north have not resorted to sabotage the efforts of ipob at leading a resistance.

Ipob resistance is necessary to shatter the northern born to rule mentality but the narrow minded yorubas cant see this.

Yoruba want to keep the igbos in the nigerian bondage and servitude they created. The jubilation by yorubas over python dance speak volumes.

Blinded by their hatred for igbos, yorubas are once again at the forefront of ensuring that Southern Nigeria remains in servitude.

But they will never succeed. They alone will remain northern slaves.

Nonsense, where did you guys got this story of northern students scoring low and still been admitted, what made you guys from the east ever think you are more brilliant than Northerners?
This same notion has been in existence for a very long time, can you guys at least use last year as a case study to show us the list of students who scored low and still got admission as against their counterparts else where?

A common Igbo man hate northerners because of biafra, that is all.

A common Igbo man hate a yoruba man just because they aligned with the north politically and do not join them to promote hate against the north, nothing more.

Why is it that is only Igbo's that are complaining about admission issues?

Are the Igbo's the only tribe in Nigeria?

why are they complaining about marginalization, are they the only tribe in Nigeria?

Why were they not complaining during gej tenure?

Igbo's are their own problems!

An average Hausa man does not hate Igbo, but the reverse is the case.

How many investment does the Hausa's and other tribes in Nigeria has in the east,..........none!

But the Igbo's owned almost all the businesses in the northern cities, owned houses everywhere.

So,who hate who?
