Nigeria is a country that is known for wealth and riches despite it still under development. There are several persons from Nigeria that is very popular globally because of the fame their wealth brought them . Today, we shall be sharing with you the top 10 must successful Igbo billionaires in Nigeria 2018.

The names you shall be seeing here are only restricted to entrepreneurs only, politicians and other individuals whose source of wealth/income cannot be traced are not included in this list. There are a lot of wealthy folks in Nigeria whose source of wealth remain a misery to us all, they are not going to be given credit for what we know nothing about .

1. Orji Uzor Kalu

Orji Uzor Kalu is the chairman and founder of Slok Holding, a West African conglomerate with interests in shipping, banking, oil trading, manufacturing and the media. He is also the chairman of the Daily Sun and New Telegraph newspapers in Nigeria, he was the former governor of Abia State, Nigeria from May 29, 1999, to May 29, 2007. Before he became a Governor, he was the chairman of the Borno Water Board and the chairman of the Cooperative and Commerce Bank Limited.

He ventured into business at the age of 19 when he got expelled from the University for leading students into series of riots in the school. He started with furniture manufacturing and transportation and started getting money at the age of twenty years old.


2. Cosmas Maduka

He is the owner of Coscharis Group (Automobile, manufacturing) . He started his business with little capital and he is now the owner of Multi Million dollar business . He is into automotive spare parts, technology, medical equipment and agriculture.


3. Pascal Dozie

Pascal Dozie is the Co-Founder, Partner, and Non-Executive Partner at African Capital Alliance. He is the Founder of Kunoch Limited. He is the owner of Diamond Bank PLC which is now one of the best bank in Nigeria recently. Mr. Dozie served as the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Bank Plc. Mr. Dozie serves as the Chairman of MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd. He once served as the President at the Nigeria Stock Exchange.

Tony Ezenna is the owner of Orange Group, a company into Pharmaceutical, oil & gas. He started his business with a family chemist shop, Eastern Industrial Chemist in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State .

10. Tony Elumelu

He is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa, Transcorp and founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation.
