*Northern Elders Forum Commend Senate President for Pushing for Adherence to the Rule of Law*

The Northern Elders Forum have commended the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, for asking the federal government to follow due process of the law in the proscription of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) which was affirmed by the court on Wednesday.

Convener and leader of NEF, Dr Paul Unongo, who stated NEF’s position said:

“The Senate president was right to have said the rule of law must be followed. The young man means well for this country. That is why the President listens to him.

“IPOB has become a terrorist organisation. The Senate president is serving the country diligently. The FG acted wisely by doing the right thing after Saraki drew their attention to it.”

Well, Saraki is trying to dampen a backlash. The whole members of d house of rep, signed a declaration, condemning him for stating d govt needs to follow due process in proscripting ipob.

I swear Igbos can't see saraki killing their dead on arrival agitation

He's opening the eyes of the government to the things (clause ) before you declared one or group a terrorist
