FLOOD FUNDS: 50 MILLION NOT BILLION

While answering a question put to him by one of the reporters at the interactive session last week in Abuja regarding the total of funds so far spent by Benue State to manage this year's flood, Governor Samuel Ortom said N50 million.
The report(s) which quoted the Governor to have said the state has spent N50 billion on the flood therefore is in error.
