Hi guys, am just new to poetry.. .so this is my first poem written because I miss someone very important . ...pls if you have any critics, you are welcome..


HOW I WISH YOU WERE HERE
Sitting quietly on the bench
The memories of those days to my brain are attached
All I could see in front of me is the beech
The flies flying is all I could catch
How I wish u were here

Your absence really makes my heart grows fonders
I could remember those times we had an easy banter
Those memories really flow in my blood stream
Your face brings to my face an happiness gleam
How I wish you were here

I don't know how to bear this separation,
But I wish one day to all these is an alteration
Feeling enervated by the thought,
then I dossed of on the cot
How I wish u were here

I can feel you near so i turned around
There u stand with the smile I love
My heart beating rapidly now that you move
I reached out my hand but it was just a dream
But I wish is more than that
How I wish you were here

I miss you so much that no word can describe
All I feel is all I discribe
All I could do was just to imbibe
How I wish you were here,
To hold my hands and tell me not to worry,
We will meet once again
