Abacha was the best president we ever had until date.. he held the dollar at 80 naira for 5 consecutive years. He stabilized our economy and opened the door to Asia... he floated PTF and many schools and hospitals got relief for the first time in our history. The people he jailed are the same people who became our presidents, Governors and senators after his death and wrecked Nigeria. You are maybe too young to remember these things...

Yes I agree with you. There were a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding the whole assassination. Abacha was said to have colluded with some top Yoruba Obas in 1996 to find a way to silence Abiola concerning the June 12 election. 2 years later Abiola himself was silenced.
