On Monday, October 2nd, former first lady, Patience Jonathan, released a statement in which she accused the anti-graft agency of witch-hunting her and her family. In the statement signed by her chief press secretary, Belema Meshack-Hart, Mrs. Jonathan said she is the most vilified first lady in the history of Nigeria just because she campaigned for her husband in the 2015 general elections. Yes, Patience Jonathan has to be brought to account but that should apply to everyone else on the wrong side of the law. No selective justice. A situation where some animals are more equal than others (eg Babachir Lawal and Oke if NIA) is not acceptable.

You are right no selective justice shd b done but let them do the justice for their perceived enemies, when they are out of govt another govt too will do justice to them so at the end ,all the thieves we gradually be cleansed from the system but we have to start from somewhere even if it is selective justice.

That's not how to run an effective anti-corruption campaign. The idea of waiting for another government to fight a separate set of thieves you can't fight because they belong to your party or ethnic group sounds pathetic. It's only in Nigeria people say things like that.
