They are consumers in high demand. Tons of yams are imported into the USA in Ghana, it's just a risky business and the Nigeria govt did it at the wrong time and means all Yams will be bad.. African food sell here alot Generally food.

I know what you are talking about. I live in the Uk but what is the population of people eating yam in USA. The minister is saying it as if its generating huge income for the govt. Kenya exports coffee all over the world and virtually you will see someone drinking coffee in a house all over the world. Kenya is not making noise about it.
It is only USA and uk you can find huge quantities of yam because of the presence of Africans, Nigeria and Ghana. There some European cities you will not find yam.
Yam exportation is another APC propaganda to divert attention.
