Mr. Ugochukwu Keneth, who hails from Afara village, in Abia State has filed a suit before the Federal High Court in Abuja, urging for an order directing the British High Commission and the controller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service. Mohammed Babandede to arrest the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu who is a native of Afara, from the United Kingdom.

The suit with number, FHC/ABJ/CS/930/2017, was filed on October 5, 2017 and has since been assigned to Justice John Tsoho.
