... The rule is the rule. Why were they unable to meet up with the attendance? If you're working, liaise with the lecturer-in-charge when the semester commences. If you're ill, write a letter to your course adviser or inform your class rep or someone who'll put in a good word for you. Those are the only categories of people I pity. But for those unrepentant truants/ yahoo boys who shadily got into school but stay away expecting degree to fall from heaven, you're on your own. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Let them be forgiven and allowed to write wat dey read on deir owm after all most of these lecturers are bunch of rubbish.. same lesson note since 1982 15 Likes 1 Share |

During my days in school, my mates will not go to class, always playing FIFA, PES. They were landlords of the Games Room and in fact they make we who go to class look foolish. Some days to exams, they will start disturbing someone for tutorials and be looking for every ways to bribe lecturers. Except for financial challenges that warrants a student to work, I don't see any reason why students should miss classes. I'm 100% with UNILAG on this. 10 Likes |

Missing class is nobody's business.Your job is to set and mark the exams and if the student fails, then fail them straight away. 3 Likes 1 Share |
