Emotional Violence Vs Physical Violence, Which Is More Damaging? by laliga01: 8:34pm On Oct 15, 2017
I want to present this daisy topic before thi honourable house. Every day we hear of one domestic violence or the other which personally I think Is not the best way to resolve differences.
In a home, there are emotional violence which most times are perpetuated by women and there are physical violence which is perpetuated by men. Here my question is which amongst the two is more damaging?

They are both damaging.

Emotional abuse will leave you psychologically fu--ck up.

Physical abuse will leave you physically and psychologically fu--ck up.

So you do the math.

Physical Violence brings Emotional disorder, so it's got the effect of emotional violence in it.

That means you've been emotionally hurt by a woman before to make such a statement.

Emotional hurt is more painful. You can't see the injury physically , don't even know where to start bandaging from. A broken spirit, who can bear? It even tells on your body physically. What goes on inside will determine what shows on the outside.
Physical hurt is damaging. This one leaves scars and will always tell a story. The good thing is you know where the pain is coming from and how to bandage it!! It can also affect you emotionally.

But finally shaa both are damaging. People respond to each according to their personality. One man's meat can be another man's poison. Preventing the two is better.

Both are not good but the most damaging depends on the situation and the people involved.

Emotional to me. Physical violence always comes with and also leads to emotional violence. If u r assaulting somebody physically it nt only hurts their body but their heart too, plus u will also be saying hurtful things to accommpany ur physical assault.

Physiologically both have and produce the same effect in the body system just that in physical violence there may physical scars but in emotional the scar might not be physically noticed

In some cases, I have heard kids/teens say they prefer their mum to beat them than to :nag on them.
That is giving me another impression that emotional violence shouldn't be encouraged as physical violencr.

Yeah, its more painful/hurtful. Infact emotional violence is just like a deep scar.

I think we should sensitize ourselves both male and female on how to talk to our partners/friends/colleagues n co.
Some say negative words cut deep like a knife.
Let's try and minimise violence.... the bad part is both the victim and the perpetrator will not have rest of mind.
