Nigerian born actor Raymond "Raywonda" Samuel, who is also called The Nigerian Wesley Snipes, has taken to his Instagram account to condemn what he called "racial insensitivity" by H&M. He revealed previously unknown details about his childhood and how those series of experiences affected his career choice.



In what was a very sincere and touching post, he had this to say:
"
I remember growing, I was always teased and picked on by my mates and seniors for being so dark and black. I was always upset and dreaded going to school, I felt weird and was mad at God for giving me this color. In those early days the only place outside my home I was appreciated was at the market.

I was always eager to accompany my elder sister to market because the market woman and area boys knew how to raise my spirit. I was called black and shine, hugged and admired by those so-called illiterates who despite their troubles took time to make a little boy feel good about himself. Black and Shine was a lot different from charcoal, blackboard and the other unsavory names I was called at school.

Over time, I learnt to build my confidence and be proud about my color. I discovered I have a bold face that shields my emotion and attracts attraction. This discovery directly or indirectly influenced my decision to pursue a career in entertainment and today, thanks to God, I am doing very well for myself. At this point I would like to condemn the racial insensitivity and discrimination of H&M, a company of that stature should be well advised.

The Mo’Hits crew comprising of Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, K-Switch, Ikechukwu and D’Prince split in 2012 over several internal disagreements.
Dbanj’s Mananager Frank told Punch,

“Let us not get things twisted, not a dime exchanged hands for any reason. The entire performance was not motivated by money at all.
“It was Davido’s initiative, he wanted it to happen at his show so he went for it and he got what he wanted. He spoke to all of the former Mo’Hits crew members individually, they saw his point and they granted his request.
” Davido is a good kid, he spoke to every member of the Mo’Hits crew. He thought about having a Mo’Hits reunion at his show and he got it.
“It was an exciting show and D’banj loved the performance. He wanted the Mo’Hits crew to perform at his show because they were people he looked up to before his career started.
“He made a request and they all agreed that it could be done. Before the performance, everybody was backstage having fun and when they were through with the performance, they all went to the green room and the atmosphere was a lovely one.
“I was there with them and if you had the opportunity to have seen them bond, you would not have even believe that they ever broke up. There was no awkwardness at all. It was the same ambiance that surrounded them when they were still Mo’Hits.”

Popular Lagos club owner, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, has revealed why he named his pet snake after Nigerian radio personality and television host, Toke Makinwa.

Speaking to Saturday Beats, the controversial entrepreneur said he named the python, Toke Makinwa because every ”Toke Makinwa is a huge snake”.

According to him, based on what the author writes and speaks about, she is a lady who possesses a sneaky behaviour.
He said,

“I named my pet snake Toke Makinwa because every Toke Makinwa is a snake. I named my pet python Toke Makinwa because I believe that she is not just a snake, but a huge snake – a python. And this is based on some things she talks about and writes on. There is a lot of cunningness and sneakiness to her.
”She is not your normal lady and it is time to let people know. Some people attacked me that why would I name my snake after her but the truth is that the name is patented and she does not have the right to the name.
“She is not the only Toke Makinwa in the world; there are so many of them. She might be the more popular one but right now, my pet python is even more popular than her.
“The truth is that we did not have any issue before I named the snake Toke Makinwa. She is my very good friend and I have seen her on some occasions.
“She understands that this is pure entertainment and as entertainers, we could diss ourselves in public but because we are entertainers, we know that when we are behind closed doors, we would talk to each other and settle any issue.
“We would see ourselves and say something like, ‘Mike that was a nice one’. That is the beauty of the maturity entertainers have. We can do whatever we like in public, but behind closed doors, we know it is just for the show.
“I met her once after the news broke that I named my python Toke Makinwa and the reception I got from her was nice. She just said, ‘Hey Mike, you want them to hear our voice in Lagos State’.
” And I told her that it is what we are in the business for. I even plan to have a ‘meet, greet and take a picture with Toke’ I would take my python out and people would have the opportunity of taking a picture with her.”

He's made a lot of money this year alone.
9. PHYNO N4-6million

He started his musical career as a producer in 2003. He is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language. His debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, was released in 2014. Ever since his debut he's been imoroving and growing bigger since now he charges nothing less than 4million naira per show.

7. Tiwa Savage: N5-7million

She's one of the highest paid artistes in Nigeria per show as she's usually overbooked within periods and months. According to BuzzNigeria, Tiwa Savage would change nothing less than N4 million naira per show.

In fact there have been incidents in which he has accepted to perform in shows which some other artists rejected because of the performance fee.
