Oyo state is currently the largest cultivator and exporter of Cassava in Nigeria, rose to 8 million MT in the outgoing year; our state also has one of the largest reserves of high-quality of Cashew in the worl, especially across its Ogbomoso belt.

Also, the present Ajimobi-led government has started building a Shea Butter factory in the Oke-ogun belt, to explore and maximize the growing gains of the highly beneficial agricultural and industrial Shea Butter.

The opportunities resident within the agricultural bliss of Oyo state are huge and have been explored relatively well over the past 6 years of the Ajimobi administration.

It is to this end and more, that the No.1 citizen of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, was at the UK-Nigeria Agri-Tech Summit in London, to highlight the investment profile of Oyo state and espouse these agricultural opportunities for further wins and gains.
