The man was shot as a result of drug related activities. He refused to stop when policemen stopped him, they gave him a hot chase. Getting to Tarzan Junction from Bridge Head, there was traffic congestion and he couldn't drive anymore, he opened his car to run away that was when he was shot by the police constable thinking he was an armed robber or probably a kidnapper.
