Senator Dino Melaye, who represents Kogi West Senatorial district, yesterday shocked his colleague and alot of Nigerians after he went down on his knees..

This was to beg his colleagues in the senate to save the people of Kogi state as they are currently in perilous times to the point that they have been label internally displaced persons..

The senator told his colleagues that civil servants in the state are being owed many months salaries.


He then made reference to the 54 year old director in the state civil service, Edward Soje, who was owed 11 months salary and recently committed suicide after his wife of 17 years welcomed a set of male triplets.

Dino also made reference to the viral video of an elder couple weeping over the loss of their child who required medical attention that they could not afford because the man is being owed many months salary.

Dino called for an intervention from President Buhari and his colleagues.

is there governor in that state, the funny thing is that they will still vote APC. see me they talk as if delta state get governor and senators, please senate come to our aid in delta because the only thing my governor know how to commission is filling station and drainage
