THE RESOLUTION OF NANS MEETING WITH RECTOR AND OTHER PRINCIPAL OFFICER OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OFFA.

Federal Polytechnic Offa is one of the fastest growing polytechnic in Nigeria, the need to reshape, restructure and rebrand the school as BETTER BY FAR POLYTECHNIC IN NIGERIA is a collective effort of Students, staffs and management the institution.

The leadership Of NANS which comprises NANS JCC KWARA AXIS led by COMR Uthman (a.k.a DANFODIO), NANS NATIONAL EXECUTIVE led by COMR ODEBUNMI IDOWU ID ALUTA (NANS NATIONAL PRO), NANS SENATE ARM led by COMR BAMIGBADE TAIWO EGALITARIAN (THE SENATE PRESIDENT)

In attendance from the school management are The Rector DR OLATUNJI, Deputy Rector Adm. Dr. Pastor Aluminum.School Registrar, School Bursar,School Chief Librarian and the Dean Students Affair among others.

OUR AGITATIONS:
(1) SUG ELECTION.
(2) Removal of all extortion in the campus e.g signing of clearance, Payment for SIWES letter and reduction and equal payment of ALUMNI FEES etc.
(3) Reduction in school fees. etc

After Considering some considerable consideration the following were achieved:

(1) SUG ELECTION DATE IS 23RD OF NOVEMBER 2017 (23/11/2017)
(2) The E-voting shall be monitor by all aspirants, their agents, NANS executive at the collating room to give room for free, fair and credible election.
(3) The election shall be simultaneous with SUG EXECUTIVE, SUG LEGISLATIVE ARM, FACULTIES, DEPARTMENTS.
(4) The SUG constitution shall remain valid and nobody will tamper with the constitution until we have legislative arm if SUG, for the purpose of having good leadership, we agreed on having electoral act which in which any PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY GENERAL must have UPPER CREDIT with CGPA of 3.00 before u can contest.
(4) collection and signing of clearance form still remain #200, the additional ##700 is for SIM CARD (E-YEAR BOOK) introduced by the past SUG EXECUTIVE, the introduction and the money has nothing to do with DSA or school management.
(5) The school management is not aware of the collection of money for SIWES LETTER, the Rector has ordered for immediate stoppage and refund of those that have paid.
(6) The Alumni fees shall be peg at thesame amount for both ND and HND graduate for equal opportunity to vote and be voted for.
(7) NANS ACHIEVED #1000 REDUCTION IN SCHOOL FEES...... The #3000 increment in school fees, the Rector state the genuine reason for the money and the need to address sport facilities in the school, 25years of the school existence and the school has not host NIPOGA GAME OR PRE-NIPOGA GAME, the Rector made us to understand that the money will be properly manage and monitor by all concern to make sure that the school sport facilities is up to the standard by this time of next year.
( The Leadership of NANS warn that the staff should stay away from having interest in one candidate or political movement, as this has caused more harms than good.

HENCE FORTH any payment that is not through REMITTAL,students should report to NANS for proper action as part of our 100% loyalty to PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ANTI CORRUPTION CAMPAIGN.

The leadership Of NANS thanks the Rector and management for there open door policy aims at bringing the FEDPOFFA of our dream. KUDOS TO THE DEAN STUDENTS AFFAIR DR GBENGA ALEMINU for being there day and night for FEDPOFFA STUDENTS .
